Apparatus and method for ice water immersion therapy
An emergency management system having an ice water immersion bag capable of rapidly cooling an overheated individual's body through its combination of elements, apertures, and capacity. An overheated individual is placed within the ice immersion bag, yet the individual's body may still be accessed in the event of a medical emergency through the use of one of the many openings presented throughout the bag. The openings otherwise remain sealed and waterproof to prevent the ice water from escaping the bag, further effectuating ice water immersion to rapidly cool the overheated individual.
Hand And Foot Bathing Device
A hand and foot bathing device for facilitating a user to perform Wudu in accordance to the Muslim faith includes a bathtub that has a perimeter wall which has a height that is no greater than 15.0 cm to facilitate a user to easily step into the bathtub to perform Wudu in accordance with the Muslim faith. The perimeter wall has an entry which has a height that is less than the height of the perimeter wall to facilitate the user to enter the bathtub without having to step over the perimeter wall. A bench is mounted to the perimeter wall of the bathtub to facilitate the user to sit on the bench. In this way the user can wash their hands and feet and face in a seated position while the user performs Wudu. Furthermore, the bench has an adjustable height to accommodate the height of the user.
METHODS, SYSTEMS, AND/OR DEVICES FOR THERMAL TREATMENTS
A soaking-device is usable to soak a given body part of a user. The body part may be a face or a portion of the face of the user. The user may be a person or other animal. The soaking-device includes a vessel-subassembly. The vessel-subassembly includes a wettable-subassembly. The wettable-subassembly itself and/or interaction of the wettable-subassembly with a part of the vessel-subassembly, its outermost-shell, may not utilize screws or the like mechanical fasteners. The wettable-subassembly may include a neck-gasket for removable physical contact with a neck portion of the user. The wettable-subassembly is configured to hold a volume of an immersion-liquid for the soaking of the body part. Prior to use, the volume of the immersion-liquid may be heated or cooled. A breathing-apparatus may be used. A tower may be placed next to the wettable-subassembly to shine light into and/or to release bubbles into the immersion-liquid.
Apparatus and method for treatment of wounds and skin medical conditions at a predetermined skin area
A system for treatment of wounds consists of a treatment housing, a fluid delivery mechanism for supplying debridement fluids to the wound treatment area, an evacuation mechanism for evacuation of debris from the treatment chamber. A handheld device is connected to the treatment housing, wherein its interior accommodates a laser source, a scanning device, an image recording device and at least one sensor/detector, a control unit having a microprocessor for controlling operation of the system. The sensors detect concentration of various substances in the wound, and microprocessors analyze data obtained by the sensors and generate signals to adjust parameters of the laser, the liquid dispensing nozzles and the suction outlet to optimize removal of necrotic tissue, to promote wound healing.

A circulator for use with a footbath which comprises a perforate cover having an outlet port, a base secured to said cover having at least one upstanding stator blade intermediate said base and said cover and aligned with said outlet port, an impeller is mounted for rotation with respect to said base intermediate said base and said cover, said impeller including at least one radially extending blade, said impeller including a part thereof that is manufactured of a ferromagnetic material.

Information collection apparatus and apparatus attaching method
An information collection apparatus includes: a sitting sensor detecting that a user of a toilet bowl in a toilet is sitting on a toilet seat placed on the top surface of a rim of the bowl; an information collector collecting information about an excretion in the bowl; and a housing in which the sensor and the collector are placed. The apparatus includes: a bridge component bridging the inside of the rim and the outside of the rim by placing part of the component on the top surface of the rim of the bowl and sandwiching the rim; and a fitting being attached to an end of the component in a direction of the inside of the rim and attaching the housing. The apparatus includes a change mechanism changing the distance from the end to the housing in a direction along an inner wall forming the inside of the rim.
Bidet and dispenser for use in tub or shower
A bidet chair, having legs and a seat, for use in cleaning the body is disclosed. The seat has a spray port extending from the top side to the underside dimensioned to receive the face of a showerhead. Preferably a screen, extending completely or partially across the spray port prevents the showerhead from extending past the seat. A showerhead retaining member places the showerhead under the seat, positioning the face to expel water out the spray port. Preferably the seat also contains drain holes for water drainage during use. The showerhead retaining member can be a showerhead tray having a showerhead receiving area and support system to enable vertical movement of the showerhead tray. In another embodiment the showerhead retaining area can be a pair of rails to hold a retaining element containing the showerhead.
Bidet and dispenser for use in tub or shower
A bidet chair, having legs and a seat, for use in cleaning the body is disclosed. The seat has a spray port extending from the top side to the underside dimensioned to receive the face of a showerhead. Preferably a screen, extending completely or partially across the spray port prevents the showerhead from extending past the seat. A showerhead retaining member places the showerhead under the seat, positioning the face to expel water out the spray port. Preferably the seat also contains drain holes for water drainage during use. The showerhead retaining member can be a showerhead tray having a showerhead receiving area and support system to enable vertical movement of the showerhead tray. In another embodiment the showerhead retaining area can be a pair of rails to hold a retaining element containing the showerhead.

Disclosed is a non-contact ultrasonic skincare device having LED light irradiation and mist spraying functions. The device includes a dome mask in a form of a hemisphere; an LED power source installed on an inner ceiling face of the dome mask; an ultrasonic oscillator installed on the inner ceiling face of the dome mask; a spray nozzle installed on the inner ceiling face of the dome mask so as to spray a cosmetic stored in a storage tank into the inner space in a form of mists as fine particles; and a power supply for supplying power to each of the LED power source, the ultrasonic oscillator, and the spray nozzle; and a controller configured to control an operation of each of the LED power source, the ultrasonic oscillator, and the spray nozzle.
