Route navigation system for ships, and a program thereof
The route navigation system includes a weather information distributing server which distributes weather data obtained from a weather sensor, a marine information distributing server which distributes marine data obtained from a marine sensor, a satellite information distributing server which distributes satellite data obtained from an artificial satellite, a route navigation server which performs route navigation for ships when requested and a terminal device that processes a certain application, and that obtains a result of the route navigation from the route navigation server and displays the result in a state where a user requests the route navigation via the application. With this configuration, the route navigation system provides ships with more accurate, safer, and more economical route navigation by utilizing cloud computation via the Internet.
Water Treatment Device
A water treatment device including a first hydrocyclone and a biocidal fluid injector is described. The first hydrocyclone has an internal space, a water inlet for supplying water into the internal space, a base outlet for discharging at least a part of the water, and an apex outlet. The biocidal fluid injector is configured to inject a biocidal fluid into the internal space for eliminating organisms present in the water. The biocidal fluid injector is positioned such that a pressure within the injected biocidal fluid is lower than a head pressure of the first hydrocyclone.
Systems and methods for treating a submerged surface of a target structure
An ultrasonic system for treating a submerged surface of a target structure, the system including: an ultrasonic generator for generating electrical energy to drive first and second ultrasonic transducers, the electrical energy including at least two different frequencies including a first and second operation frequency; first ultrasonic transducers configured to be mounted as a first array to the target structure, and connectable to the ultrasonic generator and operable to generate a first ultrasound signal from the first operation frequency; and second ultrasonic transducers configured to be mounted as a second array to the target structure, and connectable to the ultrasonic generator and operable to generate a second ultrasound signal from the second operation frequency, wherein the first and second ultrasonic transducers are spaceable from one another to produce guided ultrasonic waveforms through the target structure including heterodyned frequencies from the first ultrasound signal and the second ultrasound signal.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR INTEGRATED WAVE POWER CHARGING FOR OCEAN VEHICLES
A system includes an unmanned underwater vehicle (UUV), a reaction structure configured to deploy from a body of the UUV, and one or more tendons connecting the reaction structure to the body of the UUV, wherein the reaction structure deploys at a depth below the body of the UUV. The system further includes one or more power take-out (PTO) units coupled to or between the reaction structure and the UUV. The system further includes a control unit coupled to the one or more PTO units to convert energy from waves on a surface of a body of water for use in other systems within the UUV.
Horizontal-axis ocean current power generation device for underwater vehicle
The present disclosure discloses a horizontal-axis ocean current power generation device for an underwater vehicle. The power generation device is disposed in a groove of a rotary body of the underwater vehicle, and includes an undercarriage unit, a yawing unit, and a power generation unit. The undercarriage unit can realize elevation and descent of the entire power generation device, and the power generation unit is capable of realizing arbitrary rotation within 360° in a horizontal plane through the yawing unit. The power generation device can actively yaw based on change of an ocean current direction to perform an incident flowing function. The power generation unit respectively drives an outer shaft and an inner shaft to rotate through a front blade and a rear blade that rotate in opposite directions, so as to drive inner and outer rotors of a motor, thereby cutting magnetic induction to generate electric power.
Self-righting trimaran
A trimaran which includes a self-righting structure positioned near the stern that substantially raises the center of buoyancy. The trimarans two peripheral hulls are shorter than the main hull and positioned near the one end to create an unstable inverted environment wherein when inverted the vessel rests primarily on the self-righting structure and an end of the main hull, substantially raising the center of gravity and creating an unstable configuration. This causes a pitch or roll about the vessel's longitudinal axis, which continues until the vessel has returned to its more stable upright position resting on three hulls.
A Floating Vessel for the Production of Potable Water
A vessel (10) comprising a plurality of hulls (15, 15c, 15o) on which is mounted a support (35) with a plurality of solar cells (30) mounted on the support (35) and connected to a plurality of batteries (40) is disclosed. A plurality of osmosis desalination devices (50) is connected electrically to the plurality of batteries (40) and have an input connected to a water supply and an output (54) connected to at least one water storage tank (60).
Power generation and propulsion architecture using fluid flow
A turbine system that harnesses energy from natural atmospheric wind and water currents for power generation and storage in a power storage mode, and in a reverse switched operation, sources current to the turbine system from storage power to function in a propulsion mode to propel an associated structure (e.g., boat, aircraft).
PROPULSION SYSTEM
A propulsion system includes at least a first propeller and a second propeller. The propulsion system further includes a first engine configured to directly driving the first propeller and a second engine configured to directly driving the second propeller. The propulsion system further includes a first electric motor provided between the first engine and the first propeller, and a second electric motor provided between the second engine and the second propeller. When the first engine is stopped, the first propeller is configured to be driven by the first electric motor that rotates by power generated by the second electric motor.
