A processor may receive an information dataset. The information dataset may include geographical area information and electronic waste information. A processor may generate a digital twin of the physical geographical area. The digital twin may be based, at least in part, on the information dataset. A processor may simulate one or more factors on the physical geographical area. A processor may predict, responsive to simulating the one or more factors, one or more electronic waste impacts on the physical geographical area.

GARMENT LIFE CYCLE TRACKING SYSTEM AND METHOD
20230036944 · 2023-02-02 ·

A garment life cycle tracking system utilizes a Radio Frequency Identification, RFID, device to retrieve life cycle data about the garment. The RFID device may be scanned by an interactive device, such as a mobile phone, and the RFID identifier may be used to retrieve data from a database, such as through a website interface. A mobile phone or other computing device may have an application software that interfaces with the database or website. Life cycle data may include date of manufacture, former locations of purchase, date of purchase, cost of garment, date of return of garment, type of garment and the like. A customer may track a garment after returning a garment to see when and where the garment is subsequently purchased. This system may promote recycling of garments and reduce the environmental impact of garment production.

Computerized applications for coordinating delivery data with mobile computing devices

Systems and methods of managing the collection and delivery of goods using mobile computing devices included a management system hosted on a server receiving a request from a first user through an application on a computing device for a pick-up of an item from a first location. A second user capable of fulfilling the pick-up request is identified. Details of the pick-up request are transmitted to an application on a second user computing device, wherein a visual map of the first location is displayed on the user computing device. At least one time-stamped, geo-located photograph of the item is uploaded to the application of the second user computing device. Delivery of the item to a second location is validated through at least one code identifier, wherein the code identifier is transmitted from the management system to the first user computing device.

Intelligent oxygen control in sea cages

The invention relates to a method for controlling a concentration of dissolved oxygen in a volume (V) of water (W), wherein a device (1) for dissolving oxygen in water (W) is submerged in said volume (V) of water, wherein oxygen is injected by the device (1) with an adjustable flow rate into a main water stream (W′) sucked into a housing (100) of the device (1), and wherein the oxygen enriched main water stream (W′) is discharged by the device (1) out of the housing (100) of the device (1) into said volume (V) of water (W), and wherein a current concentration of oxygen dissolved in the sucked main water stream (W′) is measured with an oxygen probe (6) that is integrated into the housing (100) of the device (1), wherein said current concentration of dissolved oxygen is transmitted in a wireless fashion to a hand-held device (9) of an operator, and wherein the flow rate of the injected oxygen is controlled such that the measured current concentration of dissolved oxygen approaches a pre-defined reference value.

RECYCLING SYSTEM WITH DISCRETE CONVEYOR BINS FOR IMPROVED ACCURACY
20230031937 · 2023-02-02 · ·

Recycling systems can include a conveyor system, an optical device, and a processor operable to detect, identify, and count redeemable objects. The conveyor system can include a plurality of bins and be configured to move the bins from a first end of the conveyor system to a second end of the conveyor system. The optical device can be situated and configured to capture an image of a plurality of objects within a bin of the conveyor system. A processor including computer-readable instructions can be configured to detect and identify the objects within an image captured by the optical device as belonging to one or more object classes. Each object class can determine whether an object is redeemable or unredeemable. The processor can be configured to provide a count of only those objects identified as redeemable.

System and method for managing service and non-service related activities associated with a waste collection, disposal and/or recycling vehicle

Systems and methods are provided for using video/still images captured by continuously recording optical sensors mounted on waste collection vehicles used in in the waste collection, disposal and recycling industry for operational and customer service related purposes. Optical sensors are integrated into the in-cab monitor as well as the onboard computer, digital video recorder and other external devices.

Reusable container use incentivizing
11615436 · 2023-03-28 ·

The use of reusable containers is coupled to merchant loyalty programs. Use of a reusable container by a customer in a transaction with a merchant earns benefits in the merchant's loyalty program to incentivize use of the reusable container. Each reusable container incorporates unique identity information. The unique identity information is associated with a customer. Used reusable containers can be exchanged for reprocessed or new reusable containers, and customer associations updated when containers are exchanged. Merchants associated with different corporate entities can participate together where reusable containers can be exchanged between different corporate entities.

Identifying overfilled containers
