PROCESSED USED-MATERIAL COLLECTION AND TRANSFER SYSTEM AND METHOD
A content collection system and method for curbside collecting of multiple segregated recycled material streams stored in a product storage container. The product storage container can include a compartment and a door associated with the compartment. A product collection interface is associated with a product collection vehicle, and is configured to engage with any configuration of product storage container. A product transfer module is associated with the product collection interface and is configured to receive content from the product storage container. The product transfer module includes weight sensors to calculate the weight of content in the product transfer module. A release mechanism is configured to discharge the content from the product transfer module to a bulk product holding unit associated with the vehicle. Software application can be utilized to request collection and/to receive collection data. Computer systems can be utilized to control operations of the system.
Methods and apparatus for managing information in connection with an account-based recycling program
Methods and apparatus for managing information relating to recycling activities are described. One embodiment described herein is directed to a method for accessing aggregated recycling information for use and/or display in connection with an account-based recycling program. The method comprises receiving first and second container information, the first container information concerning a plurality of first containers for a first recycling transaction and the second container information concerning a plurality of second containers for a second recycling transaction. The first and second container information is stored and associated account information concerning at least one consumer account. The method further comprises accessing, in response to receiving a query relating to a plurality of recycling transactions, information relating to at least the first and second containers so as to enable the use and/or display of aggregated recycling information.
System implementing air quality-based waste management
A waste service management system, method, and computer program product improve waste services by responding to air quality that is outside and inside a waste service vehicle. A controller monitors at least one exterior air quality sensor that is mounted to, and exposed to air exterior to, the waste service vehicle. The controller monitors at least one interior air quality sensor that is mounted to the waste service vehicle and exposed to air interior to a waste hauling body that is one of carried and attached to the waste service vehicle. The controller compares measurement levels of exterior and interior airborne chemical constituents to one or more corresponding air quality thresholds. The controller presents a notification on a user interface device indicating any exceedance of the air quality threshold and an associated origin of one of the exterior air and the interior air.
System and method for auditing the fill status of a customer waste container by a waste services provider during performance of a waste service activity
Systems and methods are provided for using video/still images captured by continuously recording optical sensors mounted on waste collection vehicles used in in the waste collection, disposal and recycling industry for operational and customer service related purposes. A system is provided for auditing the fill status of a customer waste container by a waste services provider during performance of a waste service activity.
Battery residual value display device
The battery residual value display device includes: a battery information receiving module; an attenuation function determining module; a second residual value determining module; a graph output module configured to output a graph of which one axis indicates residual values of a battery and another axis indicates information on an elapsed time from a time of manufacture of the battery; and a display unit. The graph output module is configured to output: in the graph, a display indicating a first residual value; a display indicating boundaries between a plurality of residual value ranks obtained by dividing the residual values in accordance with a level of a second residual value; and a display indicating boundaries between a plurality of groups, indicating types of applications in which the battery can be used, obtained by dividing the plurality of residual value ranks in accordance with the level of the second residual value.
Screening material waste
Material waste screening is provided. A sensor obtains data related to an object. A processor classifies the object based on the data to identify a recycle category for the object, open a recycle bin for the identified recycle category, instruct the operator to deposit the object in the opened recycle bin, determine a level of compliance of the object, and create at least one new instruction to increase the level of compliance.
Generating a waste profile
One or more devices, systems and/or methods for generating waste profiles are provided. For example, a graphical user interface may be controlled to display a waste profile interface. A request to generate a waste profile associated with waste may be received via the waste profile interface. The request may comprise waste parameters of the waste. One or more waste information databases may be analyzed to identify data records associated with the waste parameters. The waste profile may be generated based upon the waste parameters and the data records. An electronic waste transfer request, comprising the waste profile, associated with the waste, may be transmitted over a network connection to a second device associated with a waste facility. An acceptance message indicating that the waste facility accepts the waste or a rejection message indicating that the waste facility rejects the waste may be received from the second device.
Method for facilitating recycling
A method for facilitating recycling an object is provided. The object is produced to include a detecting device that detects a condition of the object, and wirelessly sends out the detected condition of the object, so that a dealer shop may receive the detected condition of the object, and send the same to a server. The server determines whether the object has worn out based on the detected condition, and sends a message to a mobile device related to a consumer of the object for notifying the consumer that the object has worn out, thereby motivating the consumer to recycle the object.
Method of providing client service
The invention relates to a system for providing access information to a service provider for a property comprising of an apartment or condo association and for a specific apartment within the apartment or condo association. The system utilizes a software system to schedule the access for the service provider and automated lock management access control to control the access to the property and the specific apartment.
A METHOD FOR IDENTIFYING A STATE OF A FOOD PACKAGE BY USING A CAMERA, AND A DEVICE THEREOF
A method for identifying a state of a food package by using a camera can include capturing image data depicting a section of the food package by using the camera. The section includes at least one package feature, The method can further include identifying a package feature sub-set of the image data depicting the at least one package feature provided in the section, and determining the state of the food package based on the package feature sub-set of the image data. The state is selected from a food holding state and an emptied state.
