TREATMENT OF ALLERGIES AND AUTOIMMUNE DISEASES
The present disclosure provides a method of treating allergies and autoimmune diseases using microsystem acupuncture. Methods provided herein for treating allergies and autoimmune diseases using microsystem acupuncture involving a novel allergy zone. In embodiments, the method includes identifying an allergy zone (AZ) (Soliman Allergy Zone (SAZ)) (FIG. 1A) in an acupuncture microsystem of a subject in need of treatment and treating the zone to treat the allergy or autoimmune disease. In embodiments, treating the zone includes introducing an acupuncture needle in the zone. In particular embodiments, the method includes identifying one or more active points in the liver projection site of the AZ and treating the active point or points.
Hand grip element with a hand grip body for activating an upright posture of the human body
A grip element having an elongate grip body with a first end region and a second end region. The grip body has a first surface near the second end region, with a curved subregion for supporting a subregion of the ball of the human hand, and an outwardly curved second surface supporting a subregion of the palm, and an inwardly curved third surface adjacent to the first surface and supporting the extended thumb, and an outwardly curved fourth surface lying substantially opposite the third surface and supporting the middle finger, adjacent to which fourth surface an outwardly curved fifth surface is provided for supporting the ring finger. The grip body has a sixth surface to support the index finger. The sixth surface, starting from a subregion of the second surface spaced apart from the second end region of the grip body, extends in the direction to the first end region and runs longitudinally along the grip body.

Methods and systems for treating hypertension using energy-stimulated acupuncture applied to predefined acupuncture points
Energy stimulated acupuncture, directed to a novel set of acupoints, is implemented to treat hypertension. The disclosed methods and systems are directed toward the application of electrical stimulation, or other forms of energy, to specific acupuncture points, using devices such as transcutaneous electrical stimulation electroacupuncture devices, laser acupuncture devices or ultrasound acupuncture devices, to treat hypertension, particularly in middle-aged women.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR TREATMENT OF PAIN WITH BODY IMPEDANCE ANALYZER
A patient treatment unit and method analyzes and treats pain in tissues by applying an electrical pulse train to the affected tissue. The impedance of the affected tissue is measured, and the measured impedance is correlated to a level of pain in the patient. The pulse train is further applied in response to the measured impedance to reduce the patient's pain. The patient treatment unit includes a probe stimulus generator that outputs the pulse train. The treatment unit also includes a pair of probes for contacting the patient's body and receiving the pulse train. The pulse has improved shaping based on isolation of high voltage from a low voltage control. The unit further includes a body impedance analysis circuit that senses voltage and current via the probes when the probes are contacting the patient and observe the impedance. A monitor is electrically coupled to the body impedance analysis circuit and provides an indication of the measured impedance indicative of the patient's level of pain in real-time.
Methods and systems for treating hypertension using an implantable electroacupuncture device
A method of treating hypertension in a patient includes 1) generating, by an electroacupuncture device implanted beneath a skin surface of the patient at an acupoint corresponding to a target tissue location within the patient, stimulation sessions at a duty cycle that is less than 0.05, wherein the duty cycle is a ratio of T3 to T4, each stimulation session included in the stimulation sessions has a duration of T3 minutes and occurs at a rate of once every T4 minutes, and the electroacupuncture device comprises a central electrode of a first polarity and an annular electrode of a second polarity and that is spaced apart from the central electrode; and 2) applying, by the electroacupuncture device, the stimulation sessions to the target tissue location by way of the central electrode and the annular electrode in accordance with the duty cycle.
