ENERGIZING GARMENT
The present disclosure relates to energizing garments wearable by a user. The energizing garment is provided with compressive material and fingers (e.g., watershed fingers and/or massage (non-watershed) fingers) that can be positioned about the user's body to provide a combination of compression and penetrating massage to tissues that are oriented relative to watersheds of the user. The compressive material and fingers may be sized, shaped, oriented, or arranged in patterns to strategically energize the tissues of the user to release fluids, such as lymph, interstitial fluids, and/or blood, along or across the watersheds.
Portable deep vein thrombosis compression device having an integrated pressure cuff and utilizing a disposable cuff barrier
A portable compression system for preventing deep vein thrombosis is provided. The portable compression system includes an inflatable apparatus comprising a monitor unit and at least one inflatable air cell. The portable compression system further includes an outer cuff comprising a pocket configured to receive the inflatable apparatus, the outer cuff configured to be wrapped around a portion of a patient's body where prevention of deep vein thrombosis is desired. The portable compression system further includes a disposable sleeve barrier configured to provide a physical barrier between the outer cuff and the portion of the patient's body.
PHYSIOTHERAPY INSTRUMENT FOR HUMAN BODY FACET JOINT INFLAMMATION
A physiotherapy instrument for human body facet joint inflammation includes a rigid therapy cavity and a negative pressure generation control system. The rigid therapy cavity is provided with at least one opening for a limb to enter and leave. The rigid therapy cavity is connected to the negative pressure generation control system by an air passage. The rigid therapy cavity is L-shaped, to allow a partial thigh above a knee of a limb and a partial or entire shank below the knee to be put in after bending, and allow a partial arm above an elbow of a limb and a partial or entire forearm below the elbow to be put in after bending. The L-shaped therapy cavity is composed of several parts fitted with each other to form a whole. The opening of the rigid therapy cavity and the limb are fixed by a sealed connecting component.
DYNAMIC COMPRESSION GARMENT AND USES THEREOF
The subject matter presented herein provides an efficacious system and method for diagnosing orthostatic intolerance and for treating orthostatic hypotension. A dynamic compression garment that comprises a servo-controlled splanchnic venous compression with automated binder system is used to regulate blood flow, for instance, during orthostasis. The system includes a programmable controller and a computing device in communication with the controller, an inflator, one or more sensors, and a power supply. The system can collect a user's biometric data, which may be transmitted to the user, a physician in charge of the user, or a third-party. Moreover, the biometric data may be incorporated into a machine learning model that can be used to further program the controller.
Pneumatic physiotherapy apparatus with optimized compression
A pneumatic physiotherapy apparatus with optimized compression, including a wrap and a controller. The wrap includes an outer wrap and an inner airbag set; the controller can be fixedly connected to, detachably connected to, or separately connected to the outer wrap; the inner airbag set includes the first airbag and the second airbag that are interconnected and overlapped; the controller contains an inflating motor and an integrated control board that are electrically connected. The inflating motor that is controlled by the integrated control board inflates the second airbag first and then the first airbag to achieve the overlapped compression between the second airbag and the first airbag. Therefore, the user can use the pneumatic physiotherapy apparatus with optimized compression to promote blood flow, improve blood circulation, prevent deep vein thrombosis and other diseases, and improve user experience in the treatment areas.
Physical Therapy Device with Percussion, Cooling, and Heating
A system to provide physical therapy in the form of heating, cooling and/or percussion, comprising: a device that contains a battery, a motor, and a switch to turn the device on or off or put the device in heating mode or put the device in cooling mode or put the device in percussion mode; wherein the device contains a motor and a pushing rod that supply the movement that results in percussion of a removable heating/cooling attachment and a removable percussion attachment; wherein the front of the device connects to the removable heating/cooling attachment that contains an electronic component to control heating or cooling and a cooling fan; wherein the removable heating/cooling attachment can be used for heating or cooling; wherein a housing shell for the heating/cooling attachment is made of plastic, foam, or metal, or any combination of plastic, foam and metal; wherein the front part of the heating/cooling attachment is made of metal that has the capability to be in contact with human skin in order to provide either heating or cooling at fixed or adjusted degrees that are optimal for physical therapy and/or blood circulation; wherein the removable heating/cooling attachment can be replaced by the removable percussion attachment that is used for percussion; wherein the removable percussion attachment can be placed on the skin of a user in order to provide percussion at fixed or adjusted speeds that are optimal for physical therapy.
DRY IMMERSION BED
The dry-immersion bed of the present invention is suitable for intensive care units (ICUs) and fulfills the function of providing treatment for diseases such as capillary leak syndrome. The dry immersion bed fulfills the function of recovering cardiovascular physiology by normalizing the systemic distribution of water, albumin and electrolytes, and improving lymphatic drainage, venous return, cardiac output, cell metabolism and immunity.
Portable intermittent pneumatic compression system
An intermittent pneumatic compression system provides exhaust between a wrap and patient's leg, avoids tubes and is operable on a conventional battery. The system allows true portability while improving patient discomfort, reducing fall risks, and providing desired therapeutic and prophylactic compression.
Garment with elastic inserts produced using circular machines
The present invention relates to a garment with elastic inserts produced on circular machines of the type comprising elasticised sectors (3) and elasticised zones obtained by working in a further elastomeric yarnin addition to the ground yarn and the reinforcing yarn normally usedand actually knitting the yarns so as to create machined portions, both horizontally and obliquely, which result in well-defined and demarcated zones which provide greater compression than the knitted stitches on the same row, thereby providingwithin the elasticised sectors (3)a greater compression value than outside the sector on the same row of knitted stitches. The elasticised sectors (3) are designed portions which create ornamental figures or banding with specific compression which can provide support, contribute to the stimulation of blood circulation, reduce fatigue, and render movement safer and more supported, when properly positioned and sized.
Sequential compression therapy compliance monitoring systems and methods
A system includes a sequential compression device (SCD) used by a patient as part of a sequential compression therapy (SCT) protocol. The system also includes a computer device that determines whether the SCD is in use in substantially real time in compliance with the protocol. The computer device initiates a notification to a caregiver if noncompliance with the SCT protocol is detected.
