GELLAN GUM CARRIER FOR A MEDICAMENT, MEANS AND METHOD
The present invention provides composition, apparatus, kit and method for compounding an orally administered dosage form of at least one medicament comprising a container for mixing a crushed medicament with a gel-based carrier. The container comprises at least one chamber and at least one membrane as a separating element. The container comprises a flexible membrane, when removed or partially broken, provides a mixture of a defined dosage form of said medicament comprising the crushed medicament and said gel-based carrier. The membrane is further configured to prevent contamination, overdosing and non sanctioned abuse of active ingredient of said medicament.

THERAPEUTIC CELL WASHING, CONCENTRATION, AND SEPARATION UTILIZING ACOUSTOPHORESIS
Multi-stage acoustophoretic devices for continuously separating a second fluid or a particulate from a host fluid are disclosed. Methods of operating the multi-stage acoustophoretic devices are also disclosed. The systems may include multiple acoustophoretic devices fluidly connected to one another in series, each acoustophoretic device comprising a flow chamber, an ultrasonic transducer capable of creating a multi-dimensional acoustic standing wave, and a reflector. The systems can further include pumps and flowmeters.
Method and Device for Producing an Extrudate
In a method and a corresponding device for producing an extrudate, starting products are introduced into an extrusion container, heated, and homogeneously intermixed by dual asymmetric centrifugation of the extrusion container. The extrusion container is rotated about a primary rotation axis that extends outside the extrusion container, and is simultaneously rotated about a secondary rotation axis that extends through the extrusion container and is situated at an acute angle with respect to the primary rotation axis. Lastly, the intermixed starting products are jointly extruded from the extrusion container. The method and the corresponding device are particularly suitable for processing small and very small substance quantities.

MACHINE AND PROCESS FOR PREPARING INTRAVENOUS MEDICAMENTS
A machine for preparing intravenous medicaments including an enclosing structure having a plurality of lateral walls arranged to define a closed internal working environment. An access station affords selective access to the closed internal working environment. One lateral wall is an equipped wall on which there are defined a plurality of stations for objects used in the preparation of intravenous medicaments. The stations on the equipped wall include temporary receiving or parking stations for the objects and operating stations for carrying out operations on the objects. A handling robot is programmed to transfer the objects from any station to any other station. The machine includes a metering module with one or more container support groups, a syringe support/metering member group, and a weighing group for weighing objects used in the preparation of intravenous medicaments.
NEEDLELESS CARTRIDGE FOR AUTOMATIC DRUG COMPOUNDER
Various aspects of the subject disclosure relate to a compounder system having a cartridge that includes fluid pathways controllable by valves of the cartridge. A pump component within the cartridge is actuable to move fluid through the controllable fluid pathways. The cartridge includes a needleless fluid port and a needleless vent port for fluid coupling to a vial via a vial puck. The vial puck includes corresponding needleless fluid and vent ports and a cannula. The cannula is extendible, by insertion of a protrusion on the cartridge into a shaft of the vial puck, into the vial to couple the vial to the needleless fluid and vent ports.
ROTARY VALVE PUMP FOR AUTOMATIC DRUG COMPOUNDER
Various aspects of the subject disclosure relate to a compounder system having a cartridge that includes controllable fluid pathways. One or more rotary piston pump/valves may be used to move fluid and/or gasses through the various fluid pathways of the cartridge. For example, the cartridge may include a dedicated rotary piston pump/valve for each process that moves fluid and/or gas through the cartridge. When turning, the rotary piston pump/valve acts as a pump to move the fluid or gas, and when the rotary piston pump/valve stops turning, it effectively acts as a shutoff valve, preventing any fluid flow. Magnetic couplers for the cartridge may be provided on a pump head of the compounder system.
Drug packaging device
A drug packaging device includes a dispensing portion and a packaging portion. The dispensing portion includes a first dispensing portion including a plurality of drug cassettes and a second dispensing portion configured to receive drugs, which are prepared separately from the drugs stored in the first dispensing portion, and to dispense the drugs. The second dispensing portion includes a first receiving/dispensing portion and a second receiving/dispensing portion. The second receiving/dispensing portion is configured to dispense drugs by the amount required for packaging among a plurality of drugs having been collectively distributed. The first receiving/dispensing portion and the second receiving/dispensing portion are vertically arranged.
Medicine dispensing device
Provided is a medicine dispensing device having a container stocking portion) for stocking a plurality of medicine containers, a medicine supplying part for supplying solid medicines, container taking means for taking the container from the container stocking portion, a medicine filling part for filling the medicine container with the solid medicines supplied from the medicine supplying part and container checking means. The medicine checking means has posture keeping means for keeping a constant posture of the medicine container and a measuring member which can approach to and move away from the medicine container. The container checking means can check a type of the medicine container by holding the medicine container with keeping the constant posture by using the posture keeping means and allowing the measuring member to approach to the medicine container from a remote position and make contact with the medicine container.
