Described is a multi-dosage array of tablets comprising one or more active substances, the tablets being coated and void of tablet portioning means so as to avoid contact of the tablet constituents upon handling by a user for the provision of a plurality of different dosages of the one or more active substances to a plurality of patients of different weight who are in need of the said one or more active substances, the dosage being dependent on the weight of the respective patient, the array of tablets comprising three or more tablet groups, each tablet group consisting of identical tablets having unique identification means and a unique dosage of the one or more active substances, the said tablets differing from tablets of another group of the array in at least the dosage of the said two or more active substances and in the identification means. A method for filling a pod is provided. A pod is provided and has a housing defining a plurality of serving chambers arranged in an annular array and surrounding a drive hub. Data is received that is indicative of a customized nutritional supplement for the pod to a controller of an automated filling station. The customized nutritional supplement is filled into at least one of the plurality of serving chambers of the pod via the automated filling station by controlling a plurality of hoppers of the filling station to dispense the customized supplement into the plurality of serving chambers of the pod. Each hopper contains a corresponding ingredient available for the customized supplement.

A drug scanning and identification system including a spectrometer, a drug holder, a mobile device and a drug identification model is provided. The spectrometer includes a light source, a diffraction grating, a light-absorption element, a wavelength selector, and a single-point photodetector. The drug holder includes a transparent area and a light-absorption area. The drug is disposed on the transparent area. The light-absorption area surrounds the transparent area. The mobile device is adapted to send a control command to trigger the spectrometer scanning the drug so as to obtain spectrum data of the drug. The spectrometer is adapted to transmit the spectrum data of the drug to the drug identification model. The drug identification model is adapted to identify the spectrum data of the drug such that the drug identification model generates an identification result. The identification result is displayed by the mobile device.

A tray system for filling pills into a blister pack is provided, as well as a corresponding method. The system includes a mounting tray to support the blister pack, rows of lights, with each light adapted to illuminate the pill-chambers of the blister pack; a depositing plate placed over the mounting tray and includes depositing-plate rows with pairs of pill-drop surface and a pill-hole, each pill-hole faces a corresponding pill-chamber; a sliding tray placed over the depositing plate which includes sliding-tray rows with opened cavities, and is slidable over the depositing plate from a pill-drop position to a chamber-filling position. Moving the sliding tray from the pill-drop position to the chamber-filling position pushes the pills from the pill-drop surfaces to the pill-chambers. The depositing plate material allows lights emissions to pass through the pill-drop surfaces while hiding the pills in the pill-chambers of the blister pack.
