Yet further, the portable medication dispenser includes a controller electrically coupled to the one or more actuators. Moreover, the portable medication dispenser includes a communication interface coupled to the controller, wherein the communication interface is configured to receive one or more commands associated with activating the one or more actuators. Additionally, the portable medication dispenser comprising a chemical agent to be released into at least one compartment upon command to render medication within the compartment inert.
Nipple
A fluid delivery device includes a nipple having a hollow body and a tip having a fluid exit opening. The body is symmetrical around an axis passing through the tip opening. The nipple includes a tab extending from the body radially outwardly from the axis. A syringe fits into the nipple to provide a source of medication or other fluids to be administered orally.
SYSTEM AND APPARATUS FOR ITEM MANAGEMENT
Item-management systems, apparatus, and methods are described, preferably for management of items such as medicaments. In embodiments, an item-management system comprises a container defining plural cells, a docking station configured to receive the container, sources of visible information to indicate the cell(s) into which an item is to be loaded, and at least one controller operable to control the visible information sources to indicate the cell into which the item is to be received.
Recycled two cell container device and methods of manufacturing a recycled two cell container device
A two cell container device the device includes a first housing and configured to house a liquid, the first housing including a body, wherein the body further comprises an annular form with an interior reservoir for the liquid and a central through-hole and a mouth portion providing access to the interior receptacle. The two cell container device includes a second housing, the second housing secured within the through-hole, the second housing configured to house at least a pill, wherein the second housing includes a first side including at least a pill receptacle having an opening and a second side adhered to the first side, wherein the second side covers the opening.
METHOD, SYSTEM AND APPARATUS FOR GUIDING AND TRACKING MEDICATION USAGE
Methods and systems are provided for tracking and guiding a patient's clinically directed medication usage. Medicaments are placed in secure passive packaging that must be unlocked to enable dispensing of a dose or a set of doses. This packaging is designed to be difficult to open manually, and instead is designed to dispense only when used in combination with an unlocking device. The unlocking device is a separate device containing electronics, mechatronics or both, to unlock and dispense from the packaging and to track and guide usage. Together, the secure container and the unlocking device track medication usage, deter an excessive rate of patient usage, and deter unauthorized access to medication.
DRUG PREPARATION KIT AND PROCESS OF PREPARING A DRUG
A drug preparation kit is disclosed that includes an adapter and a funnel unit. The adapter has a stud section with an in-container side and an out-container side. The stud section of the adapter is dimensioned to tightly fit into an opening of a container. The adapter has an access passage extending from the out-container side to the in-container side through the stud section. The funnel unit has a neck portion dimensioned to tightly fit into the access passage of the adapter. The funnel unit has a degassing channel formation arranged to provide a degassing channel extending from the in-container side of the stud section of the adapter to the out-container side of the stud section of the adapter when the neck portion of the funnel unit is fitted into the access passage of the adapter.

MEANS FOR MONITORING COMPLIANCE, FACILITATING AUTOMATIC DISPENSING AND CHILDPROOFING STRIP PACKAGED MEDICATIONS
There is provided an apparatus for monitoring compliance, facilitating automatic dispensing and childproofing strip packaged medication. In one embodiment a dispenser advances a packet, controls advancement of the packet and detects the presence and absence of the packet, including electronic circuitry for recording events. A replicate for strip package medication can have packets with an open conductive trace, each packet being rupturable at a location to interrupt conductivity of the conductive trace. When the conductive trace of one of the packets completes an external circuit, the circuit is interrupted when the packet is ruptured. In another aspect, each packet has a tuned antenna that is tuned to an external transceiver which detects the detuning of each antenna. In a method of making a replicate for strip package medication, conductive ink is printed on a surface of each packet of the replicate and longitudinal edges of the replicate are reinforced.
System and methods for customized medicine dosages in a capsule
A medicine dispensing system includes canisters and packing assemblies to place specific doses of medicines into capsules. The system removes inert and filler ingredients to place only those active ingredients prescribed to the patient. The system includes a conveyor belt to move the capsules between canisters filled with the active ingredients. A dose is placed and packed into the capsules for each active ingredient. Thus, the number of capsules for a variety of medicines is reduced.
MEDICINE DISPENSING DEVICE FOR DISTRIBUTING MEDICINE PILLS AUTOMATICALLY
The present invention discloses a medicine dispensing device for distributing medicine pills automatically, comprising a medicine supply system, a sorting system and a control system. The medicine supply system comprises a plurality of medicine supply units. The sorting system comprises a negative pressure medicine receiving mechanism, a camera subsystem, and two temporary storage cabins for medicine dispensing and discarding. The negative pressure medicine receiving mechanism has a negative pressure sucking head for sucking medicine pills. The negative pressure sucking head sucks a single medicine pill from a corresponding medicine supply unit. The camera subsystem captures images of medicine pills and sends the images to the control system. The camera subsystem recognizes the image of sucked medicine pill to identify the type, quantity and integrity of the medicine pill. This device fills the gap of no household automatic oral medicine dispensing device.
