System and method for digitally translating natural language prescription medication label to programmatically operable structure for use with smart pill containers
A smart pill container and system integrating the same, combined with a method for digitally translating natural language prescription medication into a programmatically operable structure and form for use by the smart pill container system, where the digital translation includes the abstraction of a prescription frequency characteristic into a number of “slots” and the abstraction of a prescription temporary characteristic by creating an array of “as of” date and value pairs, allowing for the building of a patient's prescription schedule, where the smart pill container has a number of pill wells for storing different doses of medication, and where based on the prescription schedule, an opening in the pill container provides at least one user with access to the medication stored in a particular one of the pill wells at a given dosing time, and where a platform associated with the pill container provides instructions for dosing such medication and monitors use of the pill container for compliance with the prescribed medical regimen.
Medication support apparatus
A medication support apparatus includes a container, a medicine distribution member, a port, a take-out device, and a transfer device. The container is configured to store one-dose packages of medicines. The medicine distribution member includes a plurality of partitions configured to separately include the one-dose packages of medicines. The medicine distribution member is configured to enter and exit the medication support apparatus through the port. The take-out device is configured to take out a specific one of the one-dose packages of medicines from the container. The transfer device is configured to transfer the specific one of the one-dose packages of medicines taken out from the container. The one-dose packages of medicines are configured to be placed at predetermined positions partitioned by the plurality of partitions in the medicine distribution member.
PRESCRIPTION MEDICATION CONTROL DEVICE
A medication control device includes a housing defining an interior of the housing and a door movable between an open position and a closed position. A carousel can be rotatably mounted within the interior of housing and is configured to receive a medication blister pack, and an actuator is configured to advance the carousel to move a blister of the blister pack to a dispensing area of the housing when operated by a user. A lock can be configured to selectively inhibit movement of the carousel is permitted. A controller is configured to, upon detecting advancement of the carousel, start a timer for a predetermined length of time and operate the lock to inhibit movement of the carousel until the predetermined length of time has elapsed. A tamper-evident seal is configured to retain the door in the closed position until broken, thereby only allowing destructive access to the medication.
Pill box
A pill box includes a box body. The box body includes an accommodating chamber defining an opening and receiving pills. A box closing the accommodating chamber is arranged on the accommodating chamber. A connecting end of the box cover is hinged to a rear end of the box body. An elastic piece and a limiting groove are disposed on the rear end of the box body. A clamping seat is arranged on the connecting end of the box cover. A bending portion is arranged on one end of the elastic piece. A fixing portion is arranged on another end of the elastic piece. The bending portion passes through the clamping seat and is exposed. When the box cover is buckled with the box body, the bending portion is deformed by being squeezed and tightly engages with the box cover, and the fixing portion extends downward into the limiting groove.

MEDICINE FEEDER
A medicine feeder includes: an outer rotary body on the outer side to be rotated about a vertical line; an inner inclined rotary body on the inner side to be rotated about an inclined line; and a sorting mechanism and a regulating mechanism operable to align solid medicine pieces carried from the top of the inner inclined rotary body onto an annular upper end surface of the outer rotary body through rotation of the inner inclined rotary body. An upper surface inclined portion of the inner inclined rotary body includes delivery portions sloping downward toward the outer side even at an elevated position and push-up portions not sloping downward toward the outer side, the delivery portions and the push-up portions being formed alternately in the circumferential direction. The push-up portions include projecting portions. The projecting portions are extended to the inner peripheral side of the delivery portions.
KIT, SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PREPARING AND USE OF A PERIOXIDE-CONTAINING COMPOSITION
Provided is a kit or system (100) for preparing a peroxide composition with increased viscosity with a pH in the range of 7 to 12 in an almost instantaneous method. For example, the kit or system may be used to provide an almost instantly obtainable (hydro)gelled peroxide composition. The system comprises a first aqueous composition (102) comprising a peroxide agent. The first aqueous composition has a first pH of less than 7. The system further comprises a second composition (104) comprising a basic agent. The second composition is separate from the first aqueous composition. A pH induced thickener is included in the kit or system separate from the second composition. The peroxide composition is obtainable by combining the parts of the kit or system. The pH induced thickener is capable of increasing the viscosity of the peroxide composition upon subjecting it to the pH in the range of 7 to 12. The kit or system has sufficient basic agent for the peroxide composition to cause the pH in the range of 7 to 12. A method for preparation and use of the kit or system is also provided.
Filling station and method for filling a feeder unit with discrete medicaments
A filling station for filling a feeder unit with discrete medicaments includes a base and a holder that is positionable in one or more inclined orientations relative to said base for holding the feeder unit in said one or more inclined orientations. A method for filling a feeder unit with discrete medicaments includes the step of filling the feeder unit with the discrete medicaments when the feeder unit is held by the holder in one of the one or more inclined orientations.
Medicine dispensing system having stair-step dosing indicators
A medicine dispensing device, configured to contain a liquid medicine to be dispensed by the medicine dispensing device and having a plurality of dosing indicia spaced apart from each other around and in relation to a circumference of a surface of the medicine dispensing device, each dosing indicia being of a different height relative to a reference level and corresponding to different dose of the liquid medicine.
Medication dispensing system
A pill dispensing apparatus includes a carousel with at least one removable bin for storing pills, a vision system for identifying pills within the bin, a vacuum nozzle for removing one or more pills identified by the vision system, and a dispensing area for receipt of the removed pills.
