FEMALE ENTERAL COUPLING
A container for collecting, transporting, storing, delivering and dispensing fluid. The container has a hollow tube with an outer circumference diameter and is configured to receive a plunger. A collection adaptor and a dispensing adaptor provide interchangeable coupling of a variable volume container such as a syringe with a collection device such as a breast pump and a dispensing device such as a nipple. The container also has a circumferential seal assembly secured at one end of the hollow tube. The seal assembly outer diameter is substantially similar to the hollow tube outer diameter.
METHOD AND PRODUCT FOR A CUSTOMIZED 3D PRINTED NIPPLE FOR BREASTFEEDING MOTHERS
A feeding device includes a fluid reservoir and a nipple configured to be attached to the fluid reservoir. The nipple includes a body portion defining a compartment configured to contain a liquid so as to mimic a feel of a mother's breast. The body portion comprises a nipple tip comprising a fluid outlet. The nipple includes a base member attached to the body portion, the base member including an attachment portion configured to attach the nipple to the fluid reservoir. The base member comprises a fluid inlet in fluid communication with the fluid reservoir. The nipple includes a fluid passageway extending through the compartment from the fluid inlet to the nipple tip, where the fluid passageway allows fluid to flow from the fluid reservoir to the fluid outlet. A valve member positioned on the base member adjusts a flow rate of fluid from the fluid reservoir into the fluid passageway.
VESSEL FOR A FLUID HAVING A SILICONE CONTINUITY
A vessel intended to contain a fluid including a container delimiting an inner volume made of a flexible material and topped with a tubular sleeve whose proximal end delimits a housing. The sleeve includes an upper shoulder projecting radially outwards of the sleeve. The vessel also comprises a removable closure device made of a flexible material including a lower shoulder adapted to interact with the upper shoulder of the sleeve so that tightness is ensured when the lower shoulder and the upper shoulder are compressed against one another. The vessel also comprises includes a coupling system enabling holding and mutual compression of the lower shoulder of the removable closure device and of the upper shoulder of the sleeve.
SYSTEM FOR ADMINISTERING AND HEATING LIQUIDS
A device for heating and concomitantly administering a liquid includes a body having at opposite ends a base and a neck connectable to liquid suction means, and liquid heating means. The body has an inner housing configured to receive and completely enclose a liquid container. The inner housing has fluidic connection means. The neck has one or more tubes adapted to fluidically connect the fluidic connection means to the liquid suction means. The liquid heating means are adapted to heat at least partially the one or more tubes, and the fluidic connection means have one or more sharp spouts for puncturing of a predetermined region of the liquid container and for fluidic connection to the liquid container. A liquid container and a sanitizing system of the device are also provided.
SIMULATED FLOW-CONTROL BREAST FEEDING SYSTEM
System comprising of a simulating flow control breastfeeding where a tube linking a refillable housing chamber to a prosthetic nipple, an analyzing module linked to a sensor to determine a physical, physiological, or emotional state of the infant/user by mapping the received input parameter with a pre-stored set of parameters from the parameter store via the analyzing module and dynamically interact with the infant/user based on a determined output to promote a non-latching simulating breastfeeding experience to prevent bruised, sore nipples or engorged breasts.
User controllable non-collapsable variable stream patterned nipple
A flow controllable and variable stream physiological dispenser for nursing and related bottle, including a nursing bottle, or a sports container, having a cap holding a nursing bottle nipple, or a spout, upon its upper end, the bottle or container may have a singular or double venting structure provided therein, so as to prevent aeration of its contents and eliminate the need for sucking pressure to attain fluid flow from the container. The nipple or spout has various slits, of varying lengths, in order to regulate the quantity of flow of liquid from the bottle, and which nipple may be reinforced through internally formed ribs. Indicia is provided for indicating a fast, intermediate, or slow rate of flow of formula from the bottle, and various apertures, slits, crosscuts, tangential cuts, may be provided at the apex of the nipple or spout to provide a standard constant flow of fluid from the associated container, and which may be supplemented through the flow of formula through the associated radial slits provided through the upper reaches of the nursing bottle nipple or spout.
Drinking container
A drinking container is provided that can include a lid member and a cup member. The lid member can include a base member and a spout extending up from the base member. The spout can provide a fluid passageway from outside the drinking container to the volume of the cup member so that a child may drink liquid contained within the cup member. When the lid member is removably coupled to the cup member, two or more seals are created around the circumference of the drinking container between the lid member and the cup member to decrease the likelihood of leakage from between the cup member and the lid member when the lid is coupled to the cup member.
Infant Feeding Assembly
An infant feeding assembly including a feeding bottle and a sealed cup holding a single serve of infant formula to be mixed with water. The bottle includes a cup holder, a teat, a mounting ring, a water fill opening and a closure device. The cup holder is adapted to hold the cup, in an opened condition. The teat has a dome shaped base and a spout. The mounting ring releasably mounts the teat onto the cup holder. The water fill opening, through which a mixing cavity of the feeding bottle can be filled with water while the opened cup is held by the cup holder and the teat is mounted on the cup holder, is provided in the cup holder and/or in the mounting ring and/or in the teat. The cup and the teat at least partially define the mixing cavity.
Orthotropic and Orthognathic Oral Device and Method
A hygienic oral feed-bottle nipple includes an opening skirt to expand and rotate in the buccal vestibule. As the child completes the suckling cycle, the mouth portion is distorted, the skirt extended to provide cleaning, stimulation, and a bumper to deny extensive pronation. The flanges and skirt may be covered with a textured surface, or bristles, that provide mechanical brushing of oral surfaces. Hard pads set along a superior surface of the nipple are compressed against the maxilla palate and provide upwards and/or lateral force to encourage lateral expansion of the palate. The nipple may be bifurcated into left and right opposing lobes which can split laterally to enhance lateral force on maxilla.
UNIDIRECTIONAL VALVE FOR PRESSURIZED CONTAINERS
In a nipple for a baby feeding container, a valve part is disclosed, comprising a unidirectional valve formed of a pliable material and oppositely oriented such that when attached to the container a normal fluid flow through the valve is into the container while a flow from the container to the outside is normally blocked, the valve is characterized by a plurality of normally closed non intersecting slits formed in a deformable wall which blocks the flow of liquid from the container to the outside unless when the slits become temporarily distorted by the natural mouth maneuverings of a baby. The valve is especially advantageous for use in baby feeding containers of inflatable type in which the liquid content is pressurized under the pressure exerted by the stretched elastomeric walls of the container.
