A spatial light modulator outputs modulated light including: modulated first light when the spatial light modulator receives first light; and modulated second light when the spatial light modulator receives second light. Projection optics project the modulated light onto: a first pixel region when a component or the spatial light modulator has a first position; and a second pixel region when the component or the spatial light modulator has a second position. The first and second pixel regions partially overlap. A pixel shifter moves the component or the spatial light modulator between: the first position when the spatial light modulator outputs the modulated first light; and the second position when the spatial light modulator outputs the modulated second light.

A casing for pacifiers is disclosed. The casing comprises a body portion having an inner space large enough to receive and contain at least one pacifier, wherein the body portion is provided with a slot large enough to let a pacifier enter the inner space through the slot. A method and device for the prevention and treatment of oral mucositis using a combination of an anti-mucositis agent and the device that is held in place for prolonged periods of time within the mouth. Portions of the device overlie and are brought into direct contact with the portions of the oral mucosa that are affected by oral mucositis. The method provides prolonged contact time of the anti-mucositis agents to the areas of the mucosa that are affected by oral mucositis. The combination may be used to treat oral mucositis or, prophylactically, to prevent oral mucositis that may occur in patients that receive chemotherapy and/or radiation therapy.
