SEALER COMPOSITION FOR ROOT CANAL FILLING
To provide a sealer composition for root canal filling consisting of a liquid material containing a polymer (a) of an acid group-containing polymerizable monomer in which a portion or the entirety of the acidic group in a molecule forms a salt with an alkaline metal and water (b), wherein the pH of the liquid material is in the range from 3.5 to 5.5, and a powder material containing an acid reactive inorganic powder (c), wherein, a cured product of a kneaded material of the liquid material and the powder material comprises 3 to 20 part by weight of the polymer (a), 10 to 60 part by weight of the water (b), and 30 to 85 part by weight of the acid reactive inorganic powder (c).
ORGANIC-INORGANIC COMPOSITE FILLER HAVING MANY REACTION GROUPS ON SURFACE AND DENTAL CURABLE COMPOSITION COMPOUNDED THEREWITH
To provide an organic-inorganic composite filler containing; a polymerizable monomer (a) having at least one functional group selected from the group consisting of —OH group, —NH— group, and —NH.sub.2 group, a polymerizable monomer (b) having no functional group selected from the group consisting of —OH group, —NH— group, and —NH.sub.2 group, a polymerization initiator (c), an inorganic filler (d), and a silane compound (e) which generates —OH group by hydrolysis.
Dental restoration, method for its production and ingot
The invention refers to a method for producing a dental restoration comprising a lithium silicate glass or glass ceramic as well as a dental restoration inself. The invention further refers to a ingot with the same composition having a defined strength.
SYSTEMS, DEVICES, AND METHODS OF MAKING AND USING PTFE DENTAL PLUGS
A method of using a dental filler is disclosed. The method may include securing a prosthetic to a dental implant, the prosthetic having an access channel therethrough. The method may also include filling a portion of the access channel by inserting a polytetrafluoroethylene dental plug into the access channel and compressing the polytetrafluoroethylene dental plug within the access channel.
Composition and method for using medicament for endodontic irrigation, stem cell preparation and tissue regeneration
A single intra-canal substance composition for tissue dissolution, disinfection, tissue degradation, tissue removal and disinfection is provided. The composition includes calcium hydroxide, sodium hydroxide, potassium thioglycolate or calcium thioglycolate, to form an effective single intra-canal substance capable of degrading a cell by disrupting its disulfide bonds. Further, the composition may incorporate mineral oil, urea, cetearyl alcohol, D&C yellow No. 8, chromium hydroxide, theobroma cocoa seed butter, iron oxides, fragrances, water fragrance, lanolin, and ceteareth-20 to enhance its functioning. Furthermore, the composition that is bactericidal against Enterococcus faecalis, Streptococcus mutans and Candida albicans, used in multiple applications in dentistry and medicine. Furthermore, the composition is a single intra-canal irrigant that eradicates microorganisms as it facilitates the chemo-mechanical debridement of the root canal system.
Addition-fragmentation oligomers having high refractive index groups
Addition-fragmentation oligomers of the general formula Z—B.sub.y-A-(B-A).sub.x-B-A-B.sub.y—Z, where the A monomers units are derived from a diester or diacid, the B monomer units are derived from a difunctional monomer having functional groups co-reactive with the acid or ester groups of the A monomer, x+y is zero to 60, Z comprises an ethylenically unsaturated, polymerizable group, A monomers comprise a 1-methylene-3,3-dimethylpropyl group, and at least one B monomer unit comprises a high refractive index group.
LIGHT-CURING DENTAL COMPOSITES WITH INCREASING OPACITY
Radically polymerizable dental material which contains (a) at least one polyfunctional radically polymerizable monomer, (b) at least one further radically polymerizable monomer which can be monofunctional or polyfunctional, (c) at least one photoinitiator for the radical polymerization and (d) at least one filler. The material is characterized in that the mixture of the monomers (a) and (b) has a refractive index of from 1.50 to 1.70 and in that the refractive index of the monomer mixture before the curing corresponds to the refractive index of the filler used or is higher by up to 0.013 and after the curing is higher than the refractive index of the filler by at least 0.02.
MILLING BLANK FOR THE PRODUCTION OF MEDICAL-TECHNICAL MOLDED PARTS
A milling blank for producing medical-technical molded parts made from a material produced from at least two components, wherein a first component A comprises a poly(alkyl methacrylate) polymer, and wherein a second component B comprises at least one alkyl acrylate monomere and/or one alkyl methacrylate monomer, in which the poly(alkyl methacrylate) polymer of component A is at least partially soluble, wherein the material comprises a flexibilizer as a further component, wherein the flexibilizer is selected from the group of citric-acid-based, adipic-acid-based, phthalic-acid-based or aliphatic esters.
