Described herein are microcapsules having an oil-based core and a polymeric shell, where the oil-based core includes a perfume oil having high impact perfume raw materials and a density balancing material. Perfuming compositions and consumer products including said microcapsules, in particular isotropic or structured consumer products in the form of home care or personal care products, are also described herein.
Fragrance mixtures containing tricyclo[5.2.1.0]-decane-8-ethyl ether
Described is in particular a fragrance mixture, preferably perfume oil, comprising the components (a) (tricyclo[5.2.1.0]-decane-8-ethyl ether) ##STR00001##
and additionally (b) one or more fragrance(s), preferably with a floral odor note, from the group consisting of alcohols and aldehydes having a molecular weight of 210 g/mol or less and/or (c) one or more fragrance(s) from the group consisting of ketones, ethers and esters having a molecular weight in the range from 190 g/mol to 250 g/mol. Furthermore, the present invention relates to methods for producing fragrance mixtures according to the invention, in particular perfume oils, perfumed products containing a fragrance mixture according to the invention, methods for producing perfumed products according to the invention as well as the use of the compound of formula (I) for enhancing the natural freshness and/or radiance and/or for masking or reducing greasy, technical and/or metallic notes of one or more fragrances different from the compound of formula (I).
Cyclohexene derivatives as perfuming ingredients
The present invention concerns a compound of formula (I) in the form of any one of its stereoisomers or a mixture thereof, and wherein n is 0 or 1; R and R, independently from each other, represent a hydrogen atom or a C.sub.1-2 linear alkyl group provided that one of said groups represents a hydrogen atom and the other a C.sub.1-2 linear alkyl group; each R.sup.1, independently from each other, represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; and R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 represent, independently of each other, a C.sub.1-3 linear alkyl group; or R.sup.2 and R.sup.3, when taken together, represent a C.sub.4-5 linear, branched alkanediyl or alkenediyl. The use of compound of formula (I) as perfuming ingredients of floral type and the invention's compounds as part of a perfuming composition or of a perfuming consumer product are also part of the present invention. ##STR00001##
Removal of metal ions from essential oils
The present invention relates to a method for separating metal ions from a liquid, which method comprises contacting liquid comprising metal ions with non-functionalized cellulose, adsorbing the metal ions to the cellulose, and separating the liquid from the cellulose, wherein the liquid is an essential oil.
Ambergris and/or indole-like compositions of odoriferous substances
The present invention primarily relates to the use of one or more compound(s) of formula (I) ##STR00001##
as fragrance, wherein R is methyl or ethyl and R.sub.1 is H, methyl or ethyl. The invention further relates to new fragrance compositions comprising one or more compound(s) of formula (I), as described herein, the use of said fragrance compositions, perfumed articles comprising said fragrance compositions, and various methods of perfuming said articles or for imparting, modifying and/or enhancing certain olfactory notes.
