20230226226 · 2023-07-20 ·

A multi-signal fluorescent probe, represented by:

##STR00001##

A method for preparing the multi-signal fluorescent probe includes: (a) adding 2-methoxyphenothiazine and ethyl iodide into a mixture of dichloromethane (DCM) and acetonitrile followed by a first reaction and a first post-treatment to obtain 10-ethyl-2-methoxy-10H-phenothiazine; (b) adding boron tribromide into the 10-ethyl-2-methoxy-10H-phenothiazine under an inert gas followed by a second reaction under an ice bath and a second post-treatment to obtain 10-ethyl-10H-phenothiazin-2-ol; and (c) mixing the 10-ethyl-10H-phenothiazin-2-ol, malonic acid, zinc chloride and phosphorus oxychloride followed by a third reaction and a third post-treatment to obtain the multi-signal fluorescent probe. A use of the multi-signal fluorescent probe in the detection of intracellular ONOO.sup.- and Na.sub.2S.sub.2 is also provided.

Ultrasmall nanoparticles labeled with Zirconium-89 and methods thereof

Described herein are nanoprobes comprising ultrasmall aminated and cRGDY-conjugated nanoparticles labeled with Zirconium-89 (.sup.89Zr) and methods of their use. The provided compositions are renally clearable and possess suitable blood circulation half-time, high tumor active targeting capability, dominant renal clearance, low liver accumulation, and a high tumor-to-background ratio. The described nanoprobes exhibit great potential as “target-or-clear” tracers to human subjects for systemic targeted imaging (or treatment) of cancer.

The present invention provides compositions and methods for imaging tumor resections.

Tissue-homing peptide conjugates and methods of use thereof

Peptides that home, target, migrate to, are directed to, are retained by, or accumulate in and/or bind to the cartilage or kidney of a subject are disclosed. Pharmaceutical compositions and uses for peptides or peptide-active agent complexes comprising such peptides are also disclosed. Such compositions can be formulated for targeted delivery of an active agent to a target region, tissue, structure or cell in the cartilage. Targeted compositions of the disclosure can deliver peptide or peptide-active agent complexes to target regions, tissues, structures, or cells targeted by the peptide.

Described herein are protein-payload conjugates and compositions thereof that are useful, for example, for target-specific delivery of therapeutic and/or imaging agent moieties. In certain embodiments, provided are specific and efficient methods for producing protein-payload constructs (e.g., antibody-drug conjugates) utilizing a combination of transglutaminase and Diels-Alder techniques. Antibody-drug conjugates and compositions which comprise glutaminyl-modified antibodies, Diels-Alder adducts, and reactive payloads and are provided.

Tactical medicine dispensers

A portable medicament case that includes a medicament provided in a package, and first and second housing members that are configured to form a medicament package receiving cavity when joined together. Each housing member including a mating member that is configured for engagement with the other housing member in order to join the first and second housing members together in a sealed configuration that prevents moisture or contaminants from entering into the cavity. Also, a magazine containing a plurality of medicament cases for administration of medicaments to a group of people, and a method of administering medications to mass casualties of multiple persons that are in need thereof. The medicaments are rapidly disintegratable and can include a dye that stains the person's mouth so that medical personnel can determine who has been treated with the medicament.

COMPOSITION FOR TREATING SYNUCLEINOPATHIES

A composition for preventing or treating synucleinopathies, which includes nevirapine or a salt or solvate thereof and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier, is provided. The composition is useful in preventing or treating synucleinopathies, such as Parkinson's disease, dementia with Lewy bodies, and multiple system atrophy, because the composition serves to hinder cell-to-cell transmission of α-synuclein, prevent intracellular aggregation of α-synuclein, and inhibit transmission of aggregated α-synuclein.
