The present invention provides methods for generating a mouse model that produces anti-polyethylene glycol (PEG) antibodies. Also provided are mice generated by said methods and methods of using these mice to screen PEG-containing products in vivo.

Compositions and methods for cancer imaging and radiotherapy

The present invention relates to a conjugated compound comprising a marker M pharmaceutically acceptable, and a peptide or pseudo-peptide P having at most 30 amino acid residues and able to bind the Low-Density Lipoprotein Receptor (LDLR) and to its use in a method of labelling and/or detecting and/or treating cancerous cells in a subject by administration of the conjugated compound to the subject an analysis of the presence and/or the amount of marker.

BIOMATERIAL COMPRISING POLY(ITACONATE-CO-CITRATE-CO-OCTANEDIOL)
20230302043 · 2023-09-28 ·

A method of treating infection and/or inflammation in a subject includes steps of providing a polyester biomaterial comprising diol monomers and at least first carboxylate monomers, wherein the first carboxylate monomers are itaconate; and administering the polyester biomaterial to the subject. The polyester biomaterial can be in the form of a biomimetic, and characterized by hydrolytic degradability. The polyester biomaterial may further include second carboxylate monomers. The biomaterial can be poly(itaconate-co-citrate-co-octanediol).

COMPOSITION FOR DIAGNOSIS OF FUNGAL INFECTION

The present invention provides a composition for diagnosing fungal infection comprising 2-deoxy-2-[.sup.18F]fluorosorbitol ([.sup.18F]FDS) as an effective ingredient. The present invention makes it possible to quickly and effectively diagnose fungal infections and to acquire diagnostic images specialized for invasive fungal infections, which have been difficult to diagnose with conventional microbiological technologies and general imaging technologies,

PET TRACER FOR IMAGING OF NEUROENDOCRINE TUMORS

There is provided a radiolabelled peptide-based compound for diagnostic imaging using positron emission tomography (PET). The compound may thus be used for diagnosis of malignant diseases. The compound is particularly useful for imaging of somatostatin overexpression in tumors, wherein the compound is capable of being imaged by PET when administered with a target dose in the range of 150-350 MBq, such as 150-250 MBq, preferable in the range of 191-210 MBq.

Metapneumovirus strains and their use in vaccine formulations and as vectors for expression of antigenic sequences

Provided is an isolated mammalian negative strand RNA virus, metapneumovirus (MPV), within the sub-family Pneumoviridae, of the family Paramyxoviridae. Also provided are isolated mammalian negative strand RNA viruses identifiable as phylogenetically corresponding or relating to the genus Metapneumovirus and components thereof. In particular, provided is a mammalian MPV, subgroups and variants thereof. Also provided are genomic nucleotide sequences of different isolates of mammalian MPV, in particular, human MPV. Disclosed is the use of the sequence information of different isolates of mammalian MPV for diagnostic and therapeutic methods. Provided are nucleotide sequences encoding the genome of an MPV or a portion thereof, including both mammalian and avian MPV. Further described are chimeric or recombinant viruses encoded by the nucleotide sequences and chimeric and recombinant mammalian MPV that comprise one or more non-native or heterologous sequences. Also provided are vaccine formulations comprising mammalian or avian MPV, including recombinant and chimeric forms thereof. The vaccine preparations encompass multivalent vaccines, including bivalent and trivalent vaccine preparations.
