Fish catching device
A fish catching device includes a modular frame member having a buoyant device secured to a first side of the frame member and the second side of the frame member is capable of being secured to a watercraft. The frame member incorporates a plurality of apertures. A plurality of one-way doors is provided, each hingedly secured to the frame and cover an individual aperture. The device is configured to rest above a surface of water permitting a fish to jump through any of the doors thereby causing the fish to slow its trajectory and direct it to enter the watercraft.
Method of harvesting crustaceans
A crustacean trap adapted to permit blocking entry to a crustacean of a protected species, including a cage, enclosing a volume and a crustacean entrance that can be closed to prevent entry, responsive to a first signal and opened to permit crustacean entry, responsive to a second signal received at the trap. Also, an image forming assembly includes a digital camera and a flash mechanism, the assembly being directed at an area immediately outside of the entrance and being tuned to return a maximum signal from crustaceans of the protected crustacean species so that a protected species crustacean appears as brightly lit in images formed, and being communicatively connected to a remote station that is equipped to receive-images from the assembly. Finally, there is a connector for connecting the cage to a signal source for receiving the first and second signals and for sending the images formed.

Leech clamp
A clamp is provided which is adapted for use in fishing and other outdoor activities. The clamp includes a plurality of elongate segments and a grasper, which further features a plurality of tines. In operation, the clamp is operated by the user so as to grasp and hold live bait for baiting a hook. The clamp is typically operated by the user applying pressure against a tension, so as to actuate the grasper between open and closed positions.

DEVICE FOR GRABBING BAIT
Devices and methods for grabbing bait are generally disclosed. In an example, a device for grabbing bait may include a first clasp formed at a distal portion of a first arm extending from a body. The device may further include a second clasp formed at a distal portion of a second arm extending from the body. At least one of the clasps may include a barrier disposed on a first side of the at least one clasp. The clasps may be adapted to be brought together in an uneven fashion, causing bait between the clasps to be urged towards the barrier when the clasps are brought together about the bait.

DRONE FISHING SYSTEM FOR MULTIPLE FISHING LINES
A drone fishing system mountable on a fishing vessel having an aft portion includes a landing pad mounted having a drone station mounted on the aft portion of the fishing vessel, an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), and tether line and tether reel for maintaining an electrical connection between the drone station and the UAV. The UAV including a computing module for determining optimal positioning of the UAV with respect to the fishing vessel during operation. The UAV tether line spools about the tether reel and has an abrasion resistant cable jacket for enabling a selective engagement of a clip on the tether line. A first altimeter mounted on the fishing vessel. A second altimeter mounted on the UAV. The first and second altimeters communicate with the computing module of the UAV. The electrical connection communicates power and data between the landing pad and the UAV.

Fishing Gaff
A fishing gaff incorporates a mechanism which selectively releases the hook from a tubular shaft. A button at an end of the shaft opposite the hook is depressed to release the hook. In one embodiment, an actuator of a release engages a plurality of locking jaws to spread same and release the hook.
