The neckband is connected to said neckband module, and said one or more fastener members pivotably connects said neckband module and said one or more display segments. Also provided for a neckwear are a hermetically sealed neckband module or display segment, a display segment configured to be intra-changeable, display inserts for a neckband module or display segments, torso segments, and a neckband module with a member of a fastener to accommodate interchangeable display segments.

A badge system for a shirt carrier or like body armor carrying includes an attachment panel and a badge flap removably attached to the attachment panel. A retention tab is located at the top of the attachment panel such that the top edge of the badge is sandwiched between the strap and the attachment panel to secure the badge to the carrier. The badge flap is printable and embroiderable or may be used a surface on which badges or other items can be attached. The badge flaps can be conveniently printed or embroidered in bulk, avoiding the difficulties associated with printing or embroidering directly on the shirt carrier.

A tool to position accouterments on a uniform includes a component having at least one opening extending through the component. The opening can receive an accouterment to be placed on a uniform. The tool has one or more reference indicators indicated around the opening on at least one side. The accouterment can be placed in the opening and then appropriately positioned using the reference indicators. The tool can also have a grid that can be used to place accouterments on the uniform with respect to both horizontal and vertical positions.
