A window shelf assembly for displaying an object in on a window sill includes a first bracket that is positionable on a window sill. A plurality of bars is provided and each of the bars is coupled to the first bracket. A second bracket is provided and each of the bars is coupled thereto such that the second bracket is spaced from the first bracket. An arm is movably disposed on the second bracket. The arm abuts a wall in which the window is positioned for supporting the bars on a horizontal plane to define a support surface for displaying an object.

A window planter includes a first compartment including a first sidewall and a second sidewall. The first compartment is configured to house a first group of plants. A second compartment is slidably coupled to the first compartment. The first compartment includes a first outer sidewall. The second compartment is configured to house a second group of plants separated from the first group of plants by the first sidewall of the first compartment. A third compartment is slidably coupled to the first compartment. The third compartment includes a second outer sidewall. The third compartment is configured to house a third group of plants separated from the first group of plants by the second sidewall. At least the first compartment and the second compartment are configured to be secured to a window frame.

Provided herein are compression pad window hanging devices and systems. Compression pad window hanging devices include a compression pad attached to an item, with the compression pad designed to be compressed between the lower sash of a closed window and a window sill to thereby secure the item in place on an exterior or interior of the window. Such window hanging devices can include one or more adjustable support members extending from a bottom of the item to support the item on the exterior or interior window sill ledge and compensate for a downward slope of the exterior or interior window sill ledge. Bird feeders, flags, decorations and storage systems are examples items to be secured to a window sill using a compression pad window hanging device and system as disclosed herein.

Compression pad window hanging devices include a compression pad attached to an item, with the compression pad designed to be compressed between the lower sash of a closed window and a window sill to thereby secure the item in place on an exterior or interior of the window. An article in the form of a plant caddy shelf for supporting a plant includes a main support platform that is configured for placement on a top surface of a window sill. The main support platform has an area for receiving a plant pot. The area includes a drain hole. A leg support is pivotally coupled to an underside of the main support platform and including a bottom end for coupling to a support surface. A removable drip tray is removably coupled to the underside of the main support platform and is in fluid communication with the drain hole.

The present disclosure relates to methods, devices, apparatuses, kits, and systems for supporting an object at an opening of a structure, such as a window of a building. In an aspect of the present disclosure, an apparatus includes one or more members that define an interior section and an exterior section. The interior section configured to be coupled to the structure via a first surface of a structure, and the exterior section configured to be coupled to the structure via a second surface of the structure. The apparatus further includes a brace coupled to the one or more members and that extends through a member of the one or more members. The brace comprises includes a first end configured to be coupled to the first surface or the second surface of the structure, and a second end operable to adjust an amount that the brace extends through the member.
