Systems and methods for controlling the process of compounding admixtures
A compounding apparatus for mixing at least two materials into an admixture can include a processor and software configured to select a non-universal ingredient for substitution as a temporary universal ingredient to be used as a buffer when an original universal ingredient buffer is not available. The processor and software can also include an auto adjust feature to correct for tube wear and other factors creating non-compliant final bag fills. The processor and software can also include a disable station designation feature that allows for disabling a problem station and diverting operation from the designated disabled station to a substitute station. Such operation can ensure continued production of the compounding apparatus.
PHARMA-INFORMATICS SYSTEM
An apparatus that includes a partial power source including a first material and a second material, the partial power source configured to generate, upon contact with a conducting medium, a potential difference between the first material and the second material to provide power to a control device, and generate, using the first material and the second material, a current flow within the conducting medium, the current flow including information encoded based on a variable conductance between the first material and the second material.
Personalized Medicament Delivery Product
A medicament delivery product is provided in which one or more medicaments are fixed on a sheet according to a patient-specific pre-defined pattern. The sheet is formed into a three-dimensional or non-planar shape to facilitate ingestion by the patient. The pre-defined patterns for the medicaments are configured for controlled release or absorption of the corresponding medicament after ingestion by the patient. The medicaments can be in a liquid or a powder form and applied to the surface of the sheet in an appropriate manner. The one or more medicaments can be any combination of drugs, medicines, vitamins, nutritional supplements and the like.
Manifold for automatic drug compounder
A manifold for control of fluid and/or vapor flow between a container and a pump cartridge for a compounder system is provided. One or more manifolds may be disposed in a magazine configured to secure and align the manifolds with a plurality of ports in the cartridge. Each manifold may include a needle having forward and rear openings to a central bore. A needle housing may include a slot configured to receive a push rod for actuating the needle forward and backward. In a forward, engaged position, the openings in the needle may be disposed on opposite sides of a sealing member of the manifold to form a fluid pathway through the manifold. In a rearward, disengaged position, both the forward and rear openings in the needle may be disposed on the same side of the sealing member to prevent fluid and vapor from flowing through the manifold.
Apparatus for coating bulk material and including a material discharge regulator
A coating apparatus and a method are disclosed for coating tablets in a rotating drilled container at the outlet of which a rotating annular element operates that is coaxial with the container, in which in an initial transition phase the annular element rotates in a direction that is opposite the rotation direction of the container to retain the tablets inside the container, forming a bed of tablets until a desired level is reached, and in a stationary phase the annular element rotates in a direction that is the same as the rotation of the container to permit the exit of the tablets, until the quantity of tablets entering the container is the same that the quantity exiting.
Drug sorting device, sorting container, and drug return method
A medicine sorting device includes: a discrimination part for discriminating a type of a medicine based on an image captured by a first camera; and a conveyance/sorting unit for sorting, by each type, a plurality of types of medicines accommodated in a mixed state in a first accommodating part based on a discrimination result of the discrimination part, and storing the medicines in a second accommodating part.

MEDICINE FEEDER
A medicine feeder includes: an outer rotary body on the outer side to be rotated about a vertical line; an inner inclined rotary body on the inner side to be rotated about an inclined line; and a sorting mechanism and a regulating mechanism operable to align solid medicine pieces carried from the top of the inner inclined rotary body onto an annular upper end surface of the outer rotary body through rotation of the inner inclined rotary body. An upper surface inclined portion of the inner inclined rotary body includes delivery portions sloping downward toward the outer side even at an elevated position and push-up portions not sloping downward toward the outer side, the delivery portions and the push-up portions being formed alternately in the circumferential direction. The push-up portions include projecting portions. The projecting portions are extended to the inner peripheral side of the delivery portions.

METHOD FOR PREPARING ANTI-HEPATOMA DRUG SANJIE TABLET
The present disclosure discloses a method for preparing an anti-hepatoma drug sanjie tablet, which includes a sanjie tablet containing components of Typhonii Rhizoma, exocarp of Juglans mandshurica, Dictamni Cortex and Bovis Calculus Artifactus. The preparation method includes the steps of: step 1. removing toxins from the components of Typhonii Rhizoma, exocarp of Juglans mandshurica and Dictamni Cortex in the sanjie tablet to obtain powder of nontoxic Typhonii Rhizoma, nontoxic exocarp of Juglans mandshurica, and nontoxic Dictamni Cortex; and step 2, uniformly mixing the powder of nontoxic Typhonii Rhizoma, nontoxic exocarp of Juglans mandshurica, and nontoxic Dictamni Cortex obtained in step 1 with Bovis Calculus Artifactus, granulating with a volatile medium, drying, tabletting, and conducting film-coating to obtain the sanjie tablet. Beneficial effects: the components in the composition of the sanjie tablet is decomposed and transformed by probiotics, and improving the medication safety of a patient in clinic.
