Bowling Ball Stop Assembly

A bowling ball stop assembly for a pinsetter of a bowling lane is provided. The bowling ball stop assembly can include a moveable blocking feature that moves between a plurality of positions. The plurality of positions include an extended position with the stop arranged in front of the pinsetter to block or obstruct bowling balls moving down the bowling lane, and a retracted position with the stop raised away from the bowling lane to allow passage of bowling balls and the play of bowling games thereon. The bowling ball stop assembly further includes a frame supporting the blocking feature and configured to guide or facilitate control of movement thereof between the extended and retracted positions. Other aspects also are described.

The bowling ball launch device launches a bowling bowl according to user input. The bowling ball launch device is self-contained and allows people of any age and ability to train and play the game of bowling. The bowling ball launch device includes a ball launch unit and a ball launch chamber in its internal cavity. Rails extend though the device along which the bowling ball travels through to an exit hole. A motor in the interior of the device transfers power to a drive belt which in turn rotates power wheels. The outer surfaces of the rotating power wheels come into contact with the bowling ball and impart speed. The device is operated using a power supply and electronic components under control of a programmable circuit board.

A device for pushing a bowling ball with finger holes. The device includes a pole with a grip end and an opposite distal end. A push direction is defined from the grip end to the distal end and a withdrawal direction is defined from the distal end to the grip end. A plurality of fingers is configured to be received within the finger holes of the bowling ball, each having a base end and an opposite tip end. A pole coupler couples the fingers to the distal end of the pole such that when the fingers are received in finger holes, each finger is translationally movable relative to the finger holes only in the withdrawal direction. The device is configured to push the bowling ball by positioning the fingers into the finger holes, pushing the pole in the push direction, and retracting the pole in the withdrawal direction.

The present invention relates to a support device placed between a floor and a bowling ball to safely protect and store the ball. It comprises a first and second support plate, each with frames and accommodating protrusions to cradle the bowling ball, and a coupling means that axially connects the plates. Through axial rotation, the support plates can unfold or fold, enabling compact storage, easy portability, and minimizing surface contact to prevent scratches. The design allows the ball to rotate with minimal force for cleaning or drilling preparation. This structure not only reduces manufacturing costs by using a simple dual-plate system but also enhances usability by providing a multifunctional stand that supports, protects, and facilitates cleaning and transportation of the bowling ball.
