Robot housing movement mechanism
11547947 · 2023-01-10 · ·

A robot has a main body frame, an elastic body that forms a closed space between the elastic body and the main body frame, a movement mechanism that has a surface that is grounded when moving, and which is provided so as to be able to be housed in the closed space, and a drive mechanism that causes the movement mechanism to advance to an exterior of the closed space or to retreat into an interior. The elastic body elastically transforms owing to a pressing force received in accompaniment to an advancing of the movement mechanism, increasing the size of an aperture portion for exposing the movement mechanism, and elastically recovers in accompaniment to a retreat of the movement mechanism, reducing the size of the aperture portion.

A device capable of providing tactile and audible stimulation comprised of multiple shells of flexible material embedded into the surface of a housing body where the internal volume under each shell is connected via internal passages within the housing body to corresponding volumes under neighboring shells. This device is configured in such a fashion that when one or more shells are transitioned from a convex state to a concave state an equal number of shells previously in concave state are restored to convex state. This produces the tactile sensation that the user is popping a bubble along with a corresponding popping sound. The user can repeatedly depress shells in a way that does not change the total number of convex shells in the device and therefore it may be operated indefinitely without reconfiguration or reorientation.

A synthetic fiber ball and method of manufacturing the same is disclosed. The fiber ball includes a plurality of fibers having a predetermined length bound together with a fastening fiber at a central core. The plurality of fibers extend outwardly from the fastening fiber at the central core to form a generally spherical shaped ball. The plurality of fibers are heat shrunk in a spinning oven from a generally cylindrical shaped fiber bundle having a predetermined diameter to form the fiber ball.

Inflatable, Expanding Sword

The present disclosure provides an inflatable toy sword device with a blade configured to extend from and retract into the handle. A flexible blade material may be stored in a spooled configuration within the handle and inflated during extension. During retraction, the process is reversed and air is controllably released while the material is spooled. A method of extending and retracting the flexible blade material of an inflatable toy sword is also provided.

A toy transformable between a first form and a second form includes a first outer shell part and a second outer shell part configured to be coupled to the first outer shell part. The first outer shell part and the second outer shell part are configured to form different configurations in the first form and the second form, depending on coupling between an end of the first outer shell part and an end of the second outer shell part. Transformation is made between the first and second forms by selecting coupling in which coupling ends on opening sides of the respective first and second outer shell parts face each other or coupling of a coupling end opposite (facing in an opposite direction from) the coupling end on the opening side of the second outer shell part to the coupling end on the opening side of the first outer shell part.
