The shell further comprises at least one groove in which are housed at least one from the lateral edges and/or the lower edge of the panel for assembly of the panel with the shell.
Composite
Provided is a composite (A) including a metal plate (B) and a reinforcing member (C) that is made of a resin. The metal plate (B) includes a joint portion (2) that is continuous with one end of a body portion (1), a hole that is formed through the body portion (1) in a thickness direction of the body portion (1) in the proximity of the joint portion (2), and a guide portion provided around the hole. The reinforcing member (C) continuously includes a main portion (5), a coupling portion (6) formed in the hole (3), and a locking portion (7) that is held in close contact with a surface on another side of the body portion (1). The guide portion (4) is at least one of a protruding portion provided on at least one of a rear side and a lateral side relative to the hole (3) in a direction from the body portion (1) to the joint portion (2), and a recessed portion extended from a front side relative to the hole (3) to the hole (3) in the direction from the body portion to the joint portion. In insert molding of the composite (A), a molten resin is introduced preferentially into the hole (3). With this, the joint portion (2) is formed reliably in good condition free from adhesion of the resin.
Cap for a container, combination of a cap and a neck of the container and its production method
A cap includes a lateral wall extending about an axis and a transversal wall positioned at one end of the lateral wall, a separation line being provided on the lateral wall to define a retaining ring; a closing element removably engageable with the neck, so as to open or close the container; the separation line extends about an axis and being circumferentially interrupted to leave the retaining ring and the closing element joined; wherein the retaining ring comprises a joining portion, a first connecting band, and a second connecting band; a tab, interposed between the first connecting band and the second connecting band and being protruding, or aligned with respect to it, so that, when the closing element is in an open condition and the connecting bands keep the closing element connected to the retaining ring, the tab can rest on the neck.
Mold extractor
A mold extractor for separating a molded part from a mold portion following a molding process, and a method of using the same. The mold extractor includes a mold holder that removably couples to the mold portion, a retainer that abuts a portion of the molded part and that surrounds the mold holder such that a cavity is provided between the mold holder and the retainer, and an extraction rod engaged with the mold holder and the retainer and spanning the cavity between the mold holder and the retainer. The mold extractor is set up to reduce a distance between the mold holder and the retainer along the extraction rod such that the mold holder translates into the cavity and imparts a force on the mold portion sufficient to extract the mold portion from the molded part.
COATING SYSTEM AND METHOD
A method of manufacturing a coated article comprises injecting a feedstock with a polymer resin to provide a resin-injected feedstock, pulling the resin-injected feedstock through a pultrusion die to form a pultrusion substrate having one or more profile surfaces, adhering an adhesive material comprising a thermoplastic polyurethane onto at least a portion the one or more profile surfaces to form one or more adhesive tie layers on the pultrusion substrate, and applying one or more coating materials onto the one or more adhesive tie layers to form one or more coating layers on the one or more adhesive tie layers to provide a coated pultrusion article, wherein an adhesion strength between the one or more coating layers and the one or more adhesive tie layers is higher than a corresponding adhesion strength would be between the one or more coating layers and the pultrusion substrate.
COATINGS FROM POLYISOCYANURATE COATINGS (RIM) AND THEIR USE IN INJECTION MOLDING PROCESSES
The present invention relates to the use of polyisocyanate compositions and trimerization catalysts for production of coatings by reaction injection molding, to the coatings obtained by the use and to correspondingly coated workpieces.
Bonding process and system
A system and process for bonding involves a pocket made into one article is used to secure that article to another using a flowable, curable material (e.g., resin) which during saturation enters through a passageway and at least partially fills the void. When the article is cured, the article is bonded to another article to which resin has also been applied since the void (now containing cured material) is larger than the passageway.
Method of applying indicia onto a surface of a plastic article
Methods, apparatus and system for decorating plastic articles having an uneven surface or hollow structure are disclosed. An assembly comprising a transfer pad and a flexible heat transfer die comprising a thermal interface material (TIM) replace the hard rubber die in a hot-stamping process to fuse indicia into the surface. The assembly modifies ordinary pad printing into a hot-stamping process that transfers indicia onto uneven surfaces. A pad printing machine or other robotics is used to move the assembly from a position of heating to a position of compressing the ink transfer to the surface of the article.
RESIN MOLDING DIE, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING RESIN MOLDING DIE, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING RESIN MOLDED ARTICLE, AND SYSTEM FOR MANUFACTURING RESIN MOLDED ARTICLE
To provide a resin molded product having a desired surface shape, a resin molding mold which can manufacture the resin molded product and a method of manufacturing the same, and a resin molding mold manufacturing system to achieve manufacturing of the resin molding mold, a resin molding mold according to the present invention includes a molding mold main body and a resin layer exposedly formed on a mold surface side of the molding mold main body, made of a heat-resistant complex material containing a synthetic resin, and a ceramic powder particle, and having a thickness of 50 to 800 μm. The resin molding mold according to the present invention includes the molding mold main body and the resin layer exposedly formed on the mold surface side of the molding mold main body and made of the heat-resistant composite materials including a synthetic resin, and the ceramic powder particle, and recesses and projections are formed on the resin layer by excavating a portion of the resin layer.
APPARATUS FOR TAKING OUT MOLDED PRODUCT
A system for taking out a molded product that does not require an operator to determine the sucking operation start time for a vacuum sucker by himself/herself by trial and error is provided. A controller includes a time interval measuring section configured to measure a time interval judging from an output from a pressure detector. The time interval measuring section measures a stable time interval since the pressure in a pipe reaches a predetermined pressure until a sucking operation start pressure is detected judging from an output from the pressure detector. The sucking operation start pressure indicates that a suction nozzle starts operation to suck up a molded product hereby the predetermined pressure is maintained. A sucking operation start time determining section of the controller determines a sucking operation start time such that a stable time interval is longer than a bias time interval, concurrently with movement control for a moving mechanism.
