Knit textiles and uppers, and processes for making the same
Articles of wear having one or more textiles that include a low processing temperature polymeric composition and a high processing temperature polymeric composition, and methods of manufacturing the same are disclosed. The low processing temperature polymeric composition and the high processing temperature polymeric composition can be selectively incorporated into a textile to provide one or more structural properties and/or other advantageous properties to the article. The textile can be thermoformed to impart such structural and/or other advantageous properties to the article of wear. NONWOVENS FOR REINFORCING FOAM-MOLDED ARTICLE
[PROBLEM] An object is to provide a reinforcing nonwoven for a foam-molded article, which makes it possible to further improve a mold-setting-property of the reinforcing nonwoven, and makes it possible to foam-mold a seat efficiently. [SOLUTION] A nonwoven for reinforcing a foam-molded article, the nonwoven comprising: a reinforcing nonwoven layer, and a resin layer; wherein, the resin layer overlaps the reinforcing nonwoven layer, a resin for the resin layer has a softening point A of not lower than 20° C. and not higher than 60° C., and the nonwoven has an air permeability of not lower than 30 cc/cm.sup.2/sec and not higher than 300 cc/cm.sup.2/sec.
A METHOD FOR PREPARING A POLYURETHANE COMPOSITE BY A VACUUM INFUSION PROCESS
A method for preparing a polyurethane composite by a vacuum infusion process, a polyurethane composite prepared by said method and use thereof. The method for preparing a polyurethane composite by a vacuum infusion process of the present invention can reduce raw materials and production costs.

Carbon fiber nonwoven composite
Fiber-reinforced nonwoven composites having a wide variety of uses (e.g., leisure goods, aerospace, electronics, equipment, energy generation, mass transport, automotive parts, marine, construction, defense, sports and/or the like) are provided. The fiber-reinforced nonwoven composite includes a plurality of carbon fibers and a polymer matrix. The plurality of carbon fibers have an average fiber length from about 50 mm to about 125 mm. The fiber-reinforced nonwoven composite comprises a theoretical void volume from about 0% to about 10%.
Composite panel
A composite core material and methods for making same are disclosed herein. The composite core material comprises mineral filler discontinuous portions disposed in a continuous encapsulating resin. Further, the method for forming a composite core material comprises the steps of forming a mixture comprising mineral filler, an encapsulating prepolymer, and a polymerization catalyst; disposing the mixture onto a moving belt; and polymerizing said encapsulating prepolymer to form a composite core material comprising mineral filler discontinuous portions disposed in a continuous encapsulating resin.
Surface skin, molded product, and vehicle seat
A surface skin with which a foamed body is integrally foam-molded and which covers the foamed body includes: a plurality of surface skin members; a first thread passing through at least a part of a needle hole extended through the surface skin members so as to sew the surface skin members together; and a second thread inter-looping or interlacing with the first thread so as to sew the surface skin members together in cooperation with the first thread. The first thread is threaded through an eye of a needle. The second thread is formed by warp weaving or braiding polyester or nylon fiber pieces and is stretchable enough to fill in the needle hole.
