Foamed articles including a foamed thermoplastic elastomeric material, methods of making the foamed articles, and methods for manufacturing articles of footwear, apparel, and athletic equipment incorporating such foamed articles are provided. In one aspect, a method for making a foamed article comprises placing an article comprising a foamable material and carbon dioxide in a vessel, maintaining the vessel at a first pressure and first temperature at which the carbon dioxide is a liquid and carbon dioxide is soluble in the foamable material, optionally exposing the infused article to a second temperature and second pressure, and subjecting the article to a third pressure and third temperature at which the infused carbon dioxide phase transitions to a gas, thereby expanding the foamable material into a foamed material and forming the foamed article.

A method and system reprocess soiled animal bedding material commingled with animal manure. In one aspect the soiled animal bedding material is separated in a shaker to send at least a preponderance of the manure to a holding tank. In another aspect the bedding is cleaned, rinsed and color is restored. The bedding material is subsequently dried and a bedding product, fertilizer product, and/or compacted product is formed. Alternatively, said bedding material is dried (without a compacting step) to form a product. In yet another aspect, the steps of separation, cleaning, rinsing and/or color restoration may be omitted.

The present invention relates to a pouch-shaped battery case sealing apparatus capable of adjusting a direction in which an upper sealing block configured to press a laminate sheet applies pressure to the laminate sheet during a process of applying heat and pressure to an outer periphery of a battery case made of the laminate sheet to seal the outer periphery of the battery case when a pouch-shaped battery is manufactured and a pouch-shaped secondary battery sealing method using the same.

The present invention is directed to a liquid sealant composition based on polysulphide, capable of curing on demand, and the process for preparing same, the liquid sealant composition including: (i) a polysulphide comprising an —SH end group, (ii) a crosslinking agent chosen from ethylenically unsaturated or acetylenically unsaturated compounds, the unsaturated ethylenic or unsaturated acetylenic functions of the crosslinking agent being chemically blocked with a blocking agent, and (iii) optionally, a catalyst. A tool for fabricating a control surface is disclosed. In various embodiments, the tool includes a first block defining a longitudinal direction running between a leading edge end and a trailing edge end; a first sidewall spaced a first lateral distance from the first block to form a first closeout channel running in the longitudinal direction between the first block and the first sidewall; and a second sidewall configured to form a second closeout channel running in the longitudinal direction, the second closeout channel disposed laterally opposite the tool from the first closeout channel.

A battery case shaping apparatus includes a punch, a die, a holder, and an elastic separator. The punch is configured to press a laminate sheet into a shape of an electrode assembly receiving portion. The die has formed therein an accommodation portion having a size corresponding to the electrode assembly receiving portion. The holder is configured to fix the an outer periphery of the laminate sheet. The elastic separator is located under the punch in order to prevent direct contact between the punch and the laminate sheet. A battery case manufacturing process uses the battery case shaping apparatus to manufacture a battery case.

A punch pin hole inspection apparatus and method uses a punch and a die capable of checking defects or damage, specifically pin holes or microcracks, due to shaping immediately after finishing shaping a laminate sheet into a battery case using the punch.
