AUTOMOTIVE GLAZING WITH ANTI-FINGERPRINT COATING
Due to the increased glazed area of modern vehicles, especially the large panoramic glass roofs, we have seen a substantial growth in the use of anti-reflective coatings. Unfortunately, these types of coatings accentuate fingerprints and smudges. The invention provides an automotive glazing which is substantially resistant to fingerprints, and a method of manufacture thereof through the application of an anti-fingerprint coating based on low surface energy silanes.
A KIND OF MULTI-LAYER ARTIFICIAL LEATHER AND A PREPARATION METHOD THEREFOR, AN AUTOMOTIVE SEAT AND AN AUTOMOBILE
An artificial leather includes a resin layer as the surface and a base fabric connected to the resin layer as the substrate. The base fabric comprises at least two monolayer structures arranged in an orderly manner as two laminates. Each monolayer structure is woven with some of the warp yarns and/or weft yarns in such layer or with some of the warp yarns and/or weft yarns in one or more other layers to form a number of connecting points, such that at least two monolayer structures arranged in an orderly manner as two laminates are connected with each other in the weaving process, forming a multi-layer integrated base fabric. The artificial leather incorporates a number of air vent holes distributed in the resin layer and the base fabric in the direction of thickness while retaining mechanical properties of tensile strength and tear resistance.
Hardcoat film, article and image display device having hardcoat film, and method for manufacturing hardcoat film
A hardcoat film includes a substrate; a hardcoat layer; and an anti-scratch layer, where the hardcoat layer includes a cured product of polyorganosilsesquioxane, the polyorganosilsesquioxane has a siloxane constitutional unit containing a (meth)acryloyl group and a siloxane constitutional unit containing an epoxy group and is represented by the General Formula (1), a film thickness of the anti-scratch layer is 0.05 to 5 μm, and the anti-scratch layer includes a cured product of a compound having two or more (meth)acryloyl groups in one molecule, where Ra represents a group containing a (meth)acryloyl group; Rb represents a group containing an epoxy group; Rc represents a monovalent substituent; p, q, and r represent a proportion of Ra, Rb, and Rc in the General Formula (1) respectively; p+q+r is 100; p and q are greater than 0; r is equal to or greater than 0; p/q is 0.01 to 99.
Composite structures including a bonding layer and methods of making the composite structure
Aspects of the present disclosure provide for composite structures including a bonding layer that adheres a substrate (e.g., including a polymeric composition such as rubber) to a material (e.g., including a polymer such as polyurethane). The adhesion of the substrate to the material through the bonding layer can include chemical bonds such as, but not limited to, siloxane linkages, silanol linkages, silyl linkages, or any combination thereof in the bonding layer.
Adaption of textile article for radio frequency (RF) absorption and attenuation
The present disclosure describes techniques for fabricating a textile article from a laminate formed by curing a reinforced fiber matrix and a resin substrate. The resin substrate may include iron oxide particles, such as iron oxide, Fe.sub.3O.sub.4, that are capable of absorbing and attenuating RF signals within a desired RF signal range, namely 0 GHz-3 GHz, 3 GHz, −8 GHz, and greater than or equal to 10 GHz. The iron oxide particles may include Fe.sub.3O.sub.4Fe, Fe.sub.3O.sub.4Ni, or Fe.sub.3O.sub.4, and/or so forth. Each iron oxide particle is selected based on the RF signal range that the textile article is intended to absorb. In other words, a change in iron oxide particle composition and proportion by volume may impact the RF signals absorbed and attenuated by the textile article.
