Aerodynamic vehicle side step
A side step for a vehicle includes an inner side coupled to or adjacent to a vehicle body, an outer side, a top side, a bottom side, a front end and a rear end, where the front end is adapted to be arranged closer to a front of a vehicle than the rear end. An air guide is provided at one or both of the front end and the rear end, the air guide projects outwardly relative to a central portion of the side step that is spaced from the air guide, and the air guide projects outwardly from one or both of the top side and bottom side, and the air guide is thicker, in a vertical direction, at said one or both of the front end and rear end than is the air guide at a location between the front end and rear end.

Cargo Trailer Ladder Assembly
A cargo trailer ladder assembly for safely entering or exiting a cargo trailer includes a pair of load locks that is each extendable between walls of a cargo trailer for securing cargo in the cargo trailer. A ladder is included that has a plurality of engagement points thereon. Each of the load locks is positionable in respective ones of the engagement points for storing the load locks with the ladder. The ladder is positionable to engage the cargo trailer to facilitate a user to safely climb into or out of the cargo trailer. A strap is removably coupled to the ladder and the strap can be slung over the user's shoulder for carrying the ladder.
INTEGRATED ROOF ACCESS STEP
Disclosed embodiments include apparatuses, vehicles, and methods for providing an integrated roof step to enable an individual to access the roof of a vehicle. In an illustrative embodiment, an apparatus includes a support member configured to support an object; a socket configured to be disposed in a door frame of a vehicle body, wherein the socket is configured to at least partially receive the support member such that a door of the vehicle is closable without the support member interfering with the vehicle door; and a mount configured to movably secure a portion of the support member to the socket.
LINKAGE ASSEMBLY FOR RUNNING BOARD AND METHOD
This disclosure relates to a running board for a motor vehicle, and in particular relates to a linkage assembly for the running board and a corresponding method of using the same. An example running board assembly includes a deck and a linkage assembly configured to guide movement of the deck. The linkage assembly includes a first link and a second link further from the deck than the first link. The second link is curved such that the second link exhibits a concave contour from a perspective of the deck.
Vehicle Step Assembly
A step assembly that includes a side bar configured to be coupled to a vehicle; and a step that includes two step couplers that are spaced apart and configured to attach the step to the side bar, each of the step couplers comprising a ring that encircles the side bar. The step comprises a bridge connecting the two step couplers.

Power box side step
An articulating step assembly for a vehicle which includes a mount for attachment to a vehicle, a step member and an articulating linkage connecting the mount and the step for stowing and deploying the step. A motor is attached to the linkage to provide raising and lowering of the step. A weather sealed non-contact switch located on the assembly for actuating the motor and linkage in response to movement of the step in a predetermined direction for deploying the step.
Hybrid running board
A two-piece manufacturing process for making a running board of a vehicle with two extruded halves, one aluminum and one polymer. The upper half is aluminum and the lower half polymer.
Fall protection system for flatbed trailers
A safety rail system for a flatbed. The system is portable, installs and dismantles in minutes, and is adaptable to any flatbed trailer or truck having post mounting side pockets. The system collapses into a compact package for stowing and transport. The system utilizes existing post mounting side pockets to establish a fence line that supports one or more cable rails. The cable(s) of the cable rails are drawn taut to provide a firm barrier to protect equipment and personnel from falling off the edge of the flatbed.
