Brake booster and production method for a brake booster
A brake booster for a brake system of a vehicle, having a first input piston component, and a valve body. The brake booster has a second input piston component, which is pushed away from the first input piston component in the braking direction using a compression spring, and a locking mechanism is embodied such that when the differential travel between the booster travel and the input travel is smaller than a predefined first limit value, the second input piston component is adjustable using the compression spring together with the valve body away from the first input piston component, and when the differential travel exceeds the first limit differential travel, the second input piston component is locked in place on the first input piston component.
RESIN MOLDED ARTICLE, RESIN MOLDED ARTICLE MANUFACTURING METHOD, AND HYDRAULIC CONTROL DEVICE
A resin molded article has an internal space. The resin molded article includes: a ventilation passage defined to allow the internal space to communicate with an outside of the resin molded article. The ventilation passage includes: a first ventilation passage extending from the internal space in a predetermined direction so as to include a bottom portion; and a second ventilation passage extending from the outside in a direction intersecting the predetermined direction. The first ventilation passage and the second ventilation passage communicate with each other by allowing the bottom portion to communicate with the bifurcated portions provided at an end portion of the second ventilation passage. A portion where the first ventilation passage and the second ventilation passage communicate with each other is narrowest in the ventilation passage.
Non-return Valve Device
A non-return valve device has at least part of a flow channel for a fluid and a movable cord-like sealing element arranged in the flow channel. The sealing element is configured such that it can be moved at least partially between a closed position and an open position, wherein, in the open position, a fluid flow is permitted through the flow channel, whereas in the closed position, the fluid flow through the flow channel is blocked by form-fitting engagement with the sealing element.
PNEUMATIC VALVE APPARATUS FOR A COMPRESSED AIR DEVICE, AND TRANSMISSION-CONTROL OR CLUTCH SYSTEM COMPRISING THE PNEUMATIC VALVE APPARATUS
A pneumatic valve apparatus for a compressed air device, including: a pneumatic solenoid valve having a housing body with a supply channel, a consumer channel and a vent channel, wherein the housing body surrounds a valve chamber, in which a valve body can be moved along a valve axis counter to the force of a valve spring by an actuator relative to a vent valve seat leading to the vent channel and relative to a supply valve seat leading to the supply channel, wherein in a first position, the valve body opens the valve chamber and the vent valve seat leading to a vent channel, and, in a second position, opens a supply channel leading to the supply valve seat and the valve chamber, wherein the housing body comprises a diffuser, which adjoins the vent valve seat leading to the vent channel.
METHODS AND DEVICES FOR ESTIMATING RESIDUAL TORQUE BETWEEN THE BRAKED AND BRAKING ELEMENTS OF A VEHICLE
Methods and devices for estimating a residual torque between the braked (e.g., brake disk or drum) and braking elements (e.g., support plate or friction block) of a vehicle based on acquired and reference temperatures, where the reference temperature can be calculated using an N-dimensional calculation model with an N-dimensional vector of input variables, and where said N-dimensional calculation model can be an analytical or experimental characterization of the thermal behavior of the brake.
Spring brake actuator with an integrated valve unit
A spring brake actuator has a service brake with a service brake housing and a service brake working chamber located in the service brake housing. The service brake working chamber is confined by a diaphragm. A service brake piston movable along an actuator-longitudinal axis and abuts the diaphragm, which applies a brake force onto the service brake piston. A spring between the service brake piston and the service brake housing pushes the service brake piston against the direction of the brake force. A modulator valve unit communicates with the service brake working chamber and is configured to regulate the inlet and outlet of fluid into and out of the service brake working chamber. The modulator valve unit is integrated into the spring brake actuator and includes a controllable inlet valve communicating with the service brake working chamber and a controllable outlet valve communicating with the service brake working chamber.
BRAKING ARRANGEMENT, VEHICLE COMPRISING SUCH A BRAKING ARRANGEMENT, AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING THE BRAKING ARRANGEMENT
The present invention relates to a braking arrangement for a vehicle, the braking arrangement comprising an electric machine electrically connectable to an electric power source, a brake compressor positioned in an air flow conduit, the brake compressor being configured to pressurize a flow of air and to exhaust the pressurized flow of air, and a compressor shaft mechanically connecting the electric machine and the brake compressor to each other, wherein the electric machine is configured to generate a torque on the compressor shaft for operating the brake compressor to pressurize the flow of air, the braking arrangement further comprising an air bearing arrangement, the air bearing arrangement being fluidly connectable to a pressurized brake air tank of the vehicle via an air bearing conduit, wherein the air bearing arrangement is suspending the compressor shaft to at least one of the electric machine and the brake compressor.
Noise damper for compressed air systems and a method for the production of same
A noise damper for a compressed-air system, for a brake system of a utility vehicle, including: a housing having an inlet channel for a compressed-air stream and with a chamber for accommodating sound-damping material, in which the inlet channel and the chamber are separated, perpendicularly with respect to the compressed-air stream, by a separating plate which is closed in a central region and which, in an outer peripheral region of the compressed-air stream, has multiple openings for introducing the compressed air directly into the chamber. Also described are a related pneumatic brake system and method.
Compressed-air treatment system and method for operating a compressed-air treatment system
A compressed-air treatment system and operating method are disclosed. The compressed-air treatment system has a first valve unit configured to charge a control line for a compressor with pressure and a pressure regulator valve unit configured to release pressure from a feed line, A control port of the pressure regulator valve unit is connectable to a second valve unit. A regeneration line which has a check valve for regeneration and which is utilized for a regeneration of a dryer cartridge is connected directly to the control line. During a filling operation the compressed-air treatment system is configured to release leakage air of the regeneration check valve via the first valve unit to surroundings.
