Web of cleaning products and method of manufacture
A web of cleaning products and a method of manufacturing the same is disclosed. The web includes a carrier sheet having a plurality of depressions each filled, and in direct contact with, at least one cleaning composition. A plurality of internal lids that correspond with the plurality of depressions are sealed to the carrier sheet in a manner covering the plurality of depressions. Additionally, a plurality of external lids that correspond with the plurality of internal lids are sealed to the carrier sheet and cover the plurality of internal lids. The carrier sheet and external lids may be made of a water-resistant material, and the internal lids may be made of a water-soluble material. In one embodiment, the internal lids may be omitted, and instead the depressions be filled with water-soluble pouches, each of which contains a respective dose of a cleaning composition.
CHILD-RESISTANT, PRESSURIZABLE, AND RESEALABLE PACKAGE
A package includes a container with a crown closure bead and an external thread segment having a diameter greater than that of the crown closure bead, a crown closure coupled to the crown closure bead, and a multi-piece closure assembly coupled to the crown closure and the container. The closure assembly includes an inner shell, a seal liner carried by the inner shell and positioned against the crown closure, and an outer shell. The inner shell has an inner skirt having at least one internal thread segment to cooperate with the external thread segment of the container. The outer shell has an outer skirt with an internal retention bead for cooperating with an external retention bead of the inner shell to retain the shells together in an axial direction, and outer child-resistant engagement features to cooperate with inner child-resistant engagement features of the inner shell.
Package system
A package system is provided. The package system comprises a carton having at least a first carton panel including a first tab having a first tab edge defined by internal walls of the first panel, a second carton panel opposing the first panel, and a third carton panel between the first carton panel and the second carton panel, the carton having a carton length that is defined as a first distance parallel to the third carton panel between the first carton panel and the second carton panel; and a drawer configured to slide into and out of an interior of the carton, the drawer having at least a first drawer panel opposing the first carton panel, a second drawer panel opposing the second carton panel, and a third drawer panel opposing the third carton panel, the third drawer panel adjoined between the first drawer panel and the second drawer panel.
Compact Pill Bottle Cap Requiring Biometric Authentication for Removal
A pill bottle cap provides access to authorized users using a biometric authentication feature. The pill bottle cap broadly includes: a shroud; a plurality of clamp members, each movably mounted to the shroud; a drive member interconnected with each of the clamp members to cause the clamp members to move in a first direction when the drive member is actuated in a first direction, and to cause the clamp members to move in a second direction when the drive member is actuated in a second direction; an actuator configured to actuate the drive member to selectively move in each of the first and second directions; and biometric identification module coupled to the actuator, and configured to activate the actuator to cause the selective movement upon identification of an authorized user. Each of the components are configured and positioned to minimize a height and a volume of the pill bottle cap.
Child resistant zipper closure for recloseable pouch with double slider and methods
A child resistant zipper closure for a plastic bag includes a double slider, including a first slider and second slider. The first and second sliders are oriented on the zipper closure such that when at least one of the first slider and second slider is moving in a direction toward the other of the first slider and second slider, the zipper is interlocking; and when at least one of the first slider and second slider is moving in a direction away from the other of the first slider and second slider, the zipper is unlocking. The first and second sliders can be realeasably connected together.
Child-resistant blister package
A child-resistant blister package. The package has a top face, a bottom face, and a periphery. The package also has a protection layer with a top face, a bottom face and a periphery; a blister layer with one or more cavities; and an access layer with a top face, a bottom face, and a periphery. The bottom face of the access layer has a line of weakness that allows the unit dose to be removed from the cavity in one-step by applying a force to the top of the cavity and pressing the unit dose through the line of weakness. The bottom face of the protection layer and the top face of the access layer are permanently joined along substantially the entire periphery of the package. The blister package can also contain a tear resistant layer.
CHILD-PROOF PACKAGE AND PROCESS OF MAKING THE SAME, METHOD FOR CLOSING AND OPENING SAID PACKAGE
A package (100) including a container (1) and a case (102) configured for receiving the container; the case is movable between a closed condition and an open condition in which respectively it prevents and allows the access to the container. The package also comprises a safety device (11) having: a first coupling portion (12) internally carried by the case, a second coupling portion (13) externally carried by the container. At least one between the first and second coupling portion (12, 13) is movable with respect to the other between a first operative position in which they can be engaged with each other and a second operative position in which cannot be engaged with each other.
CHILD-RESISTANT PACKAGING
A package has a first side coupled to a second side to form a space for storing material therebetween, the space having a re-sealable proximal end and a distal end. The first side has a plurality of layers, the plurality of layers having four layers selected from the group consisting of selected from the group consisting of OPP (oriented polypropylene film), KRAFT paper, VMPET (vacuum metallized polyester film), PE (polyethylene plastic), and PET (polyethylene terephthalate).
PACKAGING
A package includes an outer sleeve and a slider for holding a blister pack slidably mounted within the outer sleeve. The outer sleeve includes a wall having an outer panel and an inner panel. The inner panel has a locking edge formed at a terminal end thereof spaced from and facing a closed end of the sleeve. A locking flap is formed at a terminal end of the slider extending in a direction away from a closed end of the outer sleeve for engagement with the said wall of the outer sleeve. The flap has a free edge for engagement with the locking edge of the inner panel to prevent the slider from being removed from the outer sleeve when the slider is fully received within the outer sleeve. The outer panel of the outer sleeve includes a release button at least partially overlapping the flap of the slider when the slider is fully inserted in the outer sleeve, and being pressable so as to disengage the free edge of the slider flap from the locking edge of the outer sleeve wall to permit the slider to be withdrawn from the outer sleeve.
LIGHTWEIGHT, CHILD RESISTANT CLOSURE WITH TAMPER EVIDENT, COMBUS-TION RESISTANT, AND/OR STRIP-TORQUE RESISTANT FEATURES
A child-resistant closure having inner and outer caps cooperating as a nested shell is contemplated. Downward force applied to the closure engages a series of cooperating lugs and detents to engage the child resistant feature, while thinned walls and cooperating, ramped skirts on the shells' interfacing surfaces to improve the hoop strength along a predefined circumference to avoid stripping/disengagement of the threads on the closure and container neck. An optional tamper evident ring may also be provided, as well as a combustion resistant vent formed in the top panel of the inner shell.
