A polymer composition containing a polyoxymethylene polymer in the form of particles for rotational molding applications is disclosed. The polyoxymethylene polymer is selected to have physical characteristics and is combined with one or more impact modifiers in order to produce hollow vessels and other articles having improved physical properties, such as impact strength resistance.

This disclosure describes various poly(acetal) polymers including processable, elastomeric poly(acetals). Various polymers described herein have a chemical structure containing cyclic acetal monomer units derived from diglycerol and a dialdehyde compound. The disclosure also relates to a method of preparing such polymers. The method can involve heating and/or adding acid to a mixture containing diglycerol and a dicarbonyl compound so as to obtain an elastomeric polymer.

A polyacetal resin composition capable of minimizing degradation when a molded body thereof comes into contact with an acidic cleaner. The polyacetal resin composition contains with respect to (A) 100 parts by mass of a polyacetal copolymer in which the amount of a hemiformal end group is 0.8 mmol/kg or less, (B) more than 1.0 parts by mass and at most 5.0 parts by mass of a hindered phenol-based antioxidant, and (C) more than 4.0 parts by mass and at most 30 parts by mass of magnesium oxide.

The resin composition contains a resin ingredient and melamine, the resin ingredient containing a polyacetal resin and a maleic anhydride-modified polyethylene resin, the polyacetal resin and the maleic anhydride-modified polyethylene resin following a mass proportion of (20 to 49):(80 to 51), and molar concentration of the maleic anhydride group capable of reacting with amino group of melamine contained in the resin composition being 5 to 25 μmol/g.
