MAGNETIC COATING MATERIAL, MAGNETIC SHEET, AND METAL COMPATIBLE TAG
Disclosed are a magnetic coating material, a magnetic sheet, and a metal compatible tag that have excellent magnetic shielding characteristics against radio waves in the UHF band and do not interfere with a distribution process. A magnetic coating material includes a magnetic filler and a binder resin, wherein the magnetic filler is an Fe—Cr alloy, and wherein in a magnetic sheet formed from the magnetic coating material, complex relative permeability in 860 MHz to 960 MHz has a loss factor tan δ of 0.3 or less and a real part μ′ of 5 or more. Also, a magnetic coating material includes a magnetic filler and a binder resin, wherein the magnetic filler is an Fe—Cr alloy, and wherein a mass ratio of the magnetic filler to a solid content of the binder (mass of the magnetic filler/mass of the solid content of the binder) is from 70/30 to 95/5.
ACID-CONTAINING POLYMERS AS COALESCING AGENTS FOR LATEXES
Provided herein are aqueous dispersions. The aqueous dispersions can comprise a first copolymer derived from one or more ethylenically unsaturated monomers, and a second carboxy-functional copolymer derived from one or more carboxylic acid-containing monomers. The aqueous dispersions can be used to prepare low- or zero-VOC aqueous coating compositions that possess desirable properties, including good block resistance and scrub resistance. Coatings and coating formulations comprising the aqueous dispersion, as well as methods of making and using the same are also provided.

VARNISH FOR FORMATION OF CHARGE-TRANSPORTING THIN FILM
Provided is a varnish for the formation of a charge-transporting thin film, said varnish including an organic solvent, a charge-transporting substance, and a 2,2,6,6-tetraalkylpiperidine-N-oxyl derivative represented by formula (T1)
##STR00001##
(in the formula, each R.sup.A independently represents a C1-20 alkyl group, and R.sup.B represents a hydrogen atom, a hydroxy group, an amino group, a carboxyl group, a cyano group, an oxo group, an isocyanato group, a C1-20 alkoxy group, a C2-20 alkylcarbonyloxy group, a C7-20 arylcarbonyloxy group, a C2-20 alkylcarbonylamino group or a C7-20 arylcarbonylamino group).
ONBOARD CONTROL APPARATUS
Provided is an onboard control apparatus (ECU) having a thermal radiating coating film capable of efficiently radiating heat generated from an electronic component to the outside of the casing. An onboard control apparatus includes: a circuit board stored in a housing; an electronic component mounted on the circuit board; and a thermal radiating coating film which is disposed on the electronic component to radiate heat generated from the electronic components, wherein the thermal radiating coating includes a resin and thermal radiating particles which radiate heat, and the thermal radiating particles and the resin have substantially same specific gravity.
RESIN COMPOSITION FOR UNDERLAYER FILM FORMATION, IMPRINT FORMING KIT, LAMINATE, PATTERN FORMING METHOD, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING DEVICE
Disclosed herein are a resin composition for underlayer film formation which is capable of forming an underlayer film having good adhesiveness to a base material and good surface state, an imprint forming kit, a laminate, a pattern forming method, and a method for producing a device. Provided is a resin composition for underlayer film formation, including a resin, a nucleophilic catalyst, and a solvent, in which the content of the nucleophilic catalyst is 0.01 to 0.3 mass % with respect to the solid content of the resin composition for underlayer film formation.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING INSULATED ELECTRIC WIRE
A method for producing an insulated electric wire of the present invention is a method for forming an insulating coating film on a surface of an electric wire by performing baking treatment after forming an insulating layer on the surface of the electric wire by an electrodeposition method using an insulating electrodeposition coating material containing a polymer. Pretreatment of evaporating a solvent in the insulating layer is performed before the baking treatment, and the pretreatment is performed by a near infrared ray heating furnace. In addition, a temperature of the pretreatment is lower than a temperature of the baking treatment.
COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS FOR FORMING STABLE, LIQUID METAL OXIDE/HYDROXIDE FORMULATIONS
Dry mixtures and liquid formulations are provided that comprise metal oxide and/or metal hydroxide nanocrystalline particles. The dry mixtures are advantageously formulated with select surfactants to be readily solubilized and stable in liquid carriers. Additional select components are provided in preferred combinations that are capable of achieving improved biocidal and chemical agent efficacy. Notably, the inventive formulations provided herein allow for easier delivery of the formulations and increased shelf stability.
