AQUEOUS EMULSION, ADHESIVE COMPOSITION, AND AQUEOUS EMULSION MANUFACTURING METHOD
There is provided an aqueous emulsion derived from a blend comprising an acrylic polymer, wherein the pH of the dispersion medium is less than 7.0, and a water-in-oil emulsion containing a nonionic water-soluble polymer, which aqueous emulsion has viscosity of 1,000 to 15,000 mPa s at 25° C. There are also provided adhesive compositions made using the aqueous emulsion and methods for manufacturing the aqueous emulsion.
IN-LINE POLYOLEFIN BASED ADHESIVE COMPOSITIONS HAVING GRAFT POLYOLEFIN/ELASTOMER COPOLYMERS
The present disclosure relates to adhesive compositions, processes of forming adhesive compositions, and multi-layer films. The processes generally include contacting an olefin monomer with a catalyst system within a polymerization zone to form an olefin based polymer under polymerization conditions sufficient to form the olefin based polymer, the catalyst system including a metal component generally represented by the formula:
MR.sub.x;
wherein M is a transition metal, R is a halogen, an alkoxy, or a hydrocarboxyl group and x is the valence of the transition metal, wherein the catalyst system further includes an internal donor (ID) comprising a C.sub.3-C.sub.6 cyclic ether; and withdrawing the olefin based polymer from the polymerization zone; and melt blending the olefin based polymer with a graft (polyolefin/elastomer) copolymer to form a polyolefin based adhesive composition, wherein the process is an in-line process.
Adhesive for electronic component
An adhesive composition for a pre-applied underfill sealant comprising: (a) a radical polymerizable monomer having one or more functional groups selected from the group consisting of vinyl group, maleimide group, acryloyl group, methacryloyl group and allyl group, (b) a polymer having a polar group, (c) a filler, and (d) a thermal radical initiator.
ADHESIVE FILM, OPTICAL MEMBER COMPRISING THE SAME, AND OPTICAL DISPLAY APPARATUS COMPRISING THE SAME
An adhesive film, an optical member including the same, and an optical display apparatus including the same are provided. An adhesive film is formed of an adhesive composition including a (meth)acrylic copolymer, a curing agent, a mono- or higher functional monomer, a binder having a melting point of about 30° C. to about 60° C., and an initiator, and has a peel strength increase rate of 7.0 or more, as calculated according to Equation 1 herein.
Radiation-curable mixture containing low-molecular, ethylenically unsaturated compounds having non-aromatic ring systems
A mixture having (A) a polymer obtain by polymerizing at least one free-radically polymerizable compound; and (B) at least one compound having at least one ethylenically unsaturated, free-radically polymerizable group and having a weight-average molecular weight Mw of less than 5000 g/mol, wherein at least 10% by weight of compounds (B) are one or more compounds B1 with at least one nonaromatic ring system.
Composition and method for temporarily fixing member using same
The present invention is intended to provide an adhesive composition for temporarily fixing which exhibits high adhesive strength and peeling property in water, and which is applicable to members having opaque area, and still which leaves no adhesive deposit on released members, so that it realize the excellent workability and environment. The present invention is a two-component composition for temporarily fixing members, comprising (A) a polyfunctional (meth)acrylate, (B) a mono-functional (meth)acrylate, (C) an organic peroxide, (D) a decomposition accelerator, (E) a polymerization initiator and (G) particulate matter, and composed of two-component system of a first agent and a second agent, said first agent containing at least said component (C) and said second agent containing at least said component (D), wherein cured body of said composition being used to bond members is brought into contact with water to be decomposed and release said members.
Hot melt adhesive for disposable products
The present invention provides a hot melt adhesive suitable for use in disposable products, which can be applied at a high speed and provides excellent in adhesion in a wet state and low-temperature coating, with little odor. The hot melt adhesive for disposable products comprises: (A) a propylene homopolymer having a melting point of 100° C. or lower obtained by polymerizing propylene using a metallocene catalyst; and (B) a wax modified with carboxylic acid and/or carboxylic acid anhydride. The wet adhesion of the hot melt adhesive is improved when the wax is modified with maleic acid and/or maleic anhydride.
