A quilt binding cutting guide and a method for using it to cut and form low-bulk, angled seams for quilt bindings. The quilt binding generally has a first end and a second end. The cutting guide may comprise a quilt edge line, a right binding cutline, and a left binding cutline, the right binding cutline and the left binding cutline being spaced apart from, and parallel to, each other, and angled with respect to the quilt edge line. To use the guide, a user may position the cutting guide on top of a quilt so that the quilt edge line is directly above a raw edge of the quilt. The user may then use the guide lines on the cutting guide to position and cut the ends of a quilt binding accurately, without measuring or marking.

An apparatus for securing and clamping thread to a bobbin is disclosed. The invention provides for a bobbin storage clamp having two clamp ends separated by a minimal distance but not in direct contact. The bobbin clamp includes two ears for separating the clamp ends when opposite lateral force is applied to the ears. The bobbin clamp and two ears comprise a single piece construction using minimal materials to create a cost efficient, lightweight, and easy to construct bobbin storage clamp.

A portable sewing tool kit, wherein the main features include: a substrate with an inner face and a back face, wherein the inner face is provided with first and second pages which can selectively folded, closed or opened mutually; a foldable cutting mat is mounted in the first page of the substrate and has at least two cutting faces and a fold line disposed between each adjacent cutting face, the folded line is optionally folded between the adjacent cutting faces to reduce the storage area; a detachable ironing mat is arranged at the second page of the substrate in a detachable form and has a core board, a cotton layer covering the outer part of the core board and a cotton cloth surface layer covering the outer part of the cotton layer, wherein at least one ironing surface is formed on the outer part of the cotton cloth surface.

A pin includes: (a) a pin shaft with a pin point; (b) an elongate pin head attached to an end of the pin shaft distal to the pin point having a pin head length, wherein the elongate pin head is characterized by an elongate tapered ribbed construction with a plurality of ribs defining a rib profile extending from an outer end of the elongate pin head distal to the pin shaft to an inner end of the elongate pin head proximate the pin shaft, said rib profile having a characteristic outer end dimension which is larger than a characteristic inner end dimension of the rib profile proximate the pin shaft, said elongate pin head being further characterized by a plurality of outwardly projecting gripping rings located a distance from the outer end of the pin head toward the inner end of the pin head.

A garment drawstring manipulation device is provided. The device is comprised of a connecting member comprised of at least one fastener, a first member comprised of at least one fastener, and a second member comprised of at least one fastener. The first and second members can be positioned on both sides of a garment such that a drawstring is positioned between the members. Then, both members can be rolled or pushed towards each other such that the fasteners secure the positions of the members on the connecting member and the members contact the drawstring. A user can continue pushing the members together while sliding the device, and the drawstring can be pushed by the members towards the opening of the waistband such that the drawstring can be pulled through the opening and return to its normal position.
