Copolyester Material with Low Melting Point, Spinning and Weaving Functions and Method for Forming the Copolyester Material
A method for forming a copolyester material includes preparing a solution of monomers, applying a polymerization to form a copolyester having a low melting point, spinning the copolyester into fiber threads to form a copolyester fiber, weaving or knitting the copolyester fiber with a common fiber to form a composite fiber having a sheet shape, cutting the composite fiber to form a determined shape, applying a hot-press process on the composite fiber under a temperature of about 120 C. to 200 C., to release tackiness of the copolyester, so that the copolyester fiber and the common fiber are bonded tightly and closely, and forming a tough film on a surface of the composite fiber by the copolyester, so that the composite fiber has functions of stiffness and abrasion resistance by the tough film.

Printing apparatus
A printing apparatus includes a discharging head which discharges liquid on a printing medium mounted on an endless belt; a medium transport portion as a transport unit which transports the printing medium; an input device as an input unit to which printing condition is input; and a fluff cutter portion which is provided on an upstream side of the discharging head in the transport direction and which cuts fluff of the printing medium in a predetermined height according to the printing condition.
NATURAL PLANT FIBER PILE FABRIC TEXTILE
A method of making a plant-based deep pile fabric that closely resembles animal fur or wool, that includes extracting the plant fibers from the plant material and forming a yarn or sliver made from plant fibers and simultaneously attaching it to a scrim also made from plant fibers, where the fiber is attached and extends from the scrim to form a length of plant-fiber pile fabric having natural plant fibers on one side and the scrim on the opposite side. The method includes finishing the scrim side of the fabric with an adhesive agent to attach the fibers to the scrim and form a stable base. The method also includes finishing the plant fiber pile side of the fabric by applying fur-industry specific processing steps to alter the properties of the fibers resulting in an even closer resemblance of animal fur.

Making soft fabric touch fasteners
Methods of making a male touch fastener product, by shearing distal portions of loops extending from a side of a flexible fabric, leaving fibers extending from the side of the flexible fabric in place of the sheared loops, the fibers extending to respective free distal ends, while leaving other loops extending from the side of the fabric intact, and then heating the distal ends with energy supplied by a linear energy source, such that resin of the distal ends flows to form enlarged heads on the extending fibers, while leaving at least some of the other loops intact. A male touch fastener product has fibers that form both loops and fiber segments extending from the base to respective distal fiber ends spaced from the base. Each distal fiber end forms an enlarged head of fiber resin for snagging other fibers.
Automated shearing system and methods of use thereof
The invention is directed towards an automated shearing system for shearing a carpet from a first height to a desired height. Such system may include a number of pile height sensors, control units, shear heads, motors, and databases. The system determines how much carpet can be sheared by each shear head and actuates the shear head accordingly. Shearing a carpet to a desired height may require about one up to about three passes through the system. Methods of measuring a carpet, determining how much to shear the carpet, and shearing the carpet are included.
