A bag-type filter is secured to the outer end portion of the outlet pipe for catching and retaining trash and debris and preventing the trash and debris from being discharged into the stormwater pond.

The adapter comprises a housing having a first side and a second side, a reducing passage extending axially through the housing from the first side to the second side, wherein the reducing passage has a varying inner diameter such that a first inner diameter transitions to a second inner diameter, a plurality of fastener receiving holes extending transversely through the housing and disposed radially and circumferentially around the reducing passage, and a plurality of fastening elements extending from the housing at the second side. The submersible pump outlet is connected to the adapter on the second side and an existing discharge line connected to the adapter on the first side. The adapter provides a transition from a diameter of the submersible pump outlet to a diameter of the existing discharge line.

A method of manufacturing a storm drain marker. The marker is constructed of a stainless steel plate with a front surface centrally disposed depression and a back surface that is recessed. The front surface is coated with a porcelain frit, and overlaid with a ceramic printed decal which is fused with the porcelain frit coating. The shaped plate forming an informational marker that can withstand long term exposure to the elements.

The entry and exit openings could be a section of the protective cover or they could be a separate attachable part. The protective cover body may have a handle, and may be rigid or flexible, with an option to have accordion like flexibility.
