AXIAL PISTON PUMP
An axial piston pump has a fluid inlet, a fluid outlet, and a rotatable, one-piece piston housing carrying one or more pistons movable within one or more respective sleeves formed by the housing. A circumferential row of fixed field members is mounted to the housing at a mounting location formed by the housing, the mounting location being radially outward of the sleeve(s). The pump further has a stator surrounding the piston housing and including a circumferential row of armature windings such that the piston housing and the stator form an electro-magnetic motor operable to rotate the piston housing, and a swashplate engaged with the piston(s) such that rotation of the piston housing relative to the swashplate around an axis of rotation produces reciprocating movement of the piston(s) for the pressurisation of fluid received into the sleeve(s) from the fluid inlet and then discharged from the sleeve(s) to the fluid outlet.
Submersible pump with barrier fluid isolation of motor lubricating liquid from pumped product
An electrical submersible pump (ESP) isolates its motor lubricant from pumped product without requiring a bellows, diaphragm, bladder, or external lubricant pressurizing system. A pair of nested isolation chambers below the motor housing are filled with a barrier fluid that is non-reactive, non-miscible, and higher in density than the pumped product and the motor lubricant. As the motor lubricant expands and contracts after pump start-up and shut-down, motor lubricant and barrier fluid are exchanged between the motor housing and the isolation chambers via three interconnections, while pumped product is exchanged with the inner barrier chamber, while being isolated from the motor housing. The interconnections extend between the bottom of the motor housing and the bottom of the outer barrier chamber, between the top of the outer barrier chamber and the bottom of the inner barrier chamber, and between the top of the inner barrier chamber and the pumped product.
AUTOMATIC Y-TOOL
A Y-tool is configured for use with a pumping system that includes an electric submersible pump and bypass tubing. The Y-tool includes a slave valve assembly that controls access to the bypass tubing. The Y-tool also includes a master valve assembly driven by pressure from the electric submersible pump and a linkage assembly connected between the master valve assembly and the slave valve assembly.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR HYDRATE MANAGEMENT
A fluid system includes a pumping flowline, wherein the pumping flowline is in selectable fluid communication with a production flowline, a cylinder including a first port and a second port, a piston slidably disposed in the cylinder, the piston sealing against an inner surface of the cylinder to form a first chamber and a second chamber, wherein the first chamber is in fluid communication with the first port and the second chamber is in fluid communication with the second port, and a first flowline in fluid communication with the first port of the cylinder and the pumping flowline, the first flowline including a first flowline valve, wherein, in response to opening the first flowline valve, the piston is displaced through the cylinder in a first direction to expand a volume of the first chamber of the cylinder.
Lubrication liquid delivery methods and apparatus
Disclosed is a method for delivering a lubrication liquid to a machine in a terminating liquid lubrication system. A machine and a cartridge containing a lubrication liquid are connected to each other so that the lubrication liquid is supplied to the machine. Some embodiments may include a monitoring system, a backup source of lubrication liquid, and/or a second cartridge that automatically provides lubrication liquid to the machine when the cartridge is empty.

Concrete pumping system having safety recirculation and method features
Mixed concrete is pumped under pressure along a primary flow path to a typically lengthy supply line. In the event a clog, blockage or other supply line concern is detected, a branch conduit in communication with the primary flow path permits a portion or all of the pressurized flow to pass through a diverter valve and a recirculation conduit back into an open-to-atmosphere reservoir or hopper from which the concrete originally was pumped. The recirculation system of this invention permits supply line pressure to be safely regulated, diminished, relieved and jogged, all without there being any need to discharge or waste valuable mixed concrete, and without having to dangerously open one or more connections of a pressurized supply line.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR OPERATING A WELL TREATMENT CHEMICAL PUMP
A method for chemical treatment includes operating a chemical pump having a flow rate capacity of a selected multiple of a flow rate of a chemical required to treat at least one of a well and surface equipment associated therewith. The operating is performed at at least one selected time and for at least one selected duration inversely proportional to the flow rate capacity such that a volume of the chemical pumped in a predetermined time interval substantially equals a required volume of the chemical during the predetermined time interval.
