BOLT WITH ADJUSTABLE CLAMPING RANGE
A bolt for clamping abutting parts includes a bolt-like part insertable into openings of the abutting parts and including an external thread on a portion of an outer side of the bolt-like part. The bolt-like part includes a bolt component without external thread so that the bolt extends in each of the abutting parts at least partially with the bolt component without external thread. A threaded sleeve projects radially outwardly beyond the bolt-like part and is positionally adjustable by engaging an internal thread of the threaded sleeve in the external thread of the bolt-like part. A clamping element is provided inside the bolt-like part at an end of the bolt-like part in opposition to the threaded sleeve and is movable beyond an outer circumference of the bolt-like part through a bore of the bolt-like part. An actuator acts on the clamping element in order to clamp the abutting parts.
FIXING PIN
A fixing pin having top section and a stem. The stem has an expandable section and a lower element adjacent thereto and the top section comprises a ratchet mechanism. The lower element of the stem is connected to the ratchet mechanism by a flexible connector, such that operation of the ratchet mechanism moves the lower element towards the top section, thereby compressing the expandable section axially and causing it to expand radially.
VENTILATION COMPONENT
A ventilation component 1 includes a ventilation path 10 for allowing ventilation between an inner space 2u and an outer space 2s of a housing 2. The ventilation path 10 is a path for allowing ventilation between the internal space 2u and the outer space 2s when the ventilation component 1 is attached to an edge 2f. The ventilation component 1 includes a supporting portion 12, a gas-permeable membrane 11, a protruding portion 13, and a sealing member 14. The supporting portion 12 surrounds the ventilation path 10. The gas-permeable membrane 11 is bonded to the supporting portion 12 and closes the ventilation path 10 in a ventilatable manner. The protruding portion 13 is a part having a tubular shape, the part being arranged to protrude from the supporting portion 12 and surround one end of the ventilation path 10, the part being configured to be in contact with the edge 2f when the ventilation component 1 is attached to the edge 2f. The ventilation component 1 satisfies requirements 2.5≤Gs/Gt≤5.0 and 1.0≤{(Gs−Gt)/2}/Lt≤3.0.
Washer appliance with removable agitator post using latches and torque transmitting shape
A washer appliance includes an impeller and impeller interface. An agitator post is removably positioned upon the impeller interface. A plurality of latches are supported by the agitator post and spaced apart circumferentially. Each latch may be configured for pivoting in and out of one of a plurality of latch recesses provided by the impeller interface when the agitator post is positioned on the impeller interface. Biasing members urge the latch into the latch recesses when the agitator post is positioned on the impeller interface.

SIGNAGE ATTACHMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD
A tree fastener and method of connecting an object to a tree is disclosed herein. The method generally includes steps. A fastener is provided that includes a head, a non-threaded shaft and a polymer material. A hole is formed in the tree. The object is positioned against the tree proximal the hole. The fastener is inserted through the object such that: the head of the fastener substantially abuts the object, the object substantially abuts bark of the tree, and the shaft terminates at a first growth ring of the tree. Once installed, the fastener maintains the object in connection with the tree over time as the tree grows additional growth rings.

Fastener with Integral Seal
Disclosed are systems and methods for coupling a first panel to a second panel via a fastening system, such as a pin and grommet (P&G) fastener having a grommet and a fastener assembly. The fastener assembly includes a rigid part component and a flexible seal that is integrally coupled with the rigid part component at an interface. The flexible seal is fabricated from a first material and the rigid part component is fabricated from a second material that is different from the first material. The interface defines one or more dovetails or other features to interlock the flexible seal with the rigid part component.
