SHORTENING HOOK WITH COUPLING CONNECTION
A shortening hook with a coupling connection for shortening sling chains in hangers, having a hook body which comprises an eyelet at the top for coupling to a suspension ring and at the bottom a coupling connection with a coupling slot which is delimited by two parallel side wings and is downwardly open for the suspension of a chain and in its central region comprises a hooking-in region, which realizes an upwardly open, rectilinearly extending shortening slot and on which a chain, which is coupled to the coupling connection, is hookable by way of its free end region. In each case, only a coupling slot and a shortening slot are realized on the hook body and, when the shortening hook is seen in side view, are mounted offset laterally with respect to one another.
Clevis mount thimble
A thimble apparatus for use with a rope has a thimble eye formed as a generally U-shaped shackle defining a center aperture therein with arms on opposing sides of the aperture. The thimble eye has an outer surface, a front face, and a rear face. A groove is formed within the front face of the shackle generally in the shape of a U and has a width. A rope seat is formed within the shackle beneath the groove proximal to the rear face and has a diameter larger than the width of the groove. The groove forms a passage to the rope seat from the front face along the length of the groove. A base connects to ends of the arms of the shackle closing the aperture. The base defines a first feed channel formed as a first bore through the base that connects with a first end of the rope seat and a second feed channel formed as a second bore through the base that connects with a second end of the rope seat.
Apparatus for quickly securing a cable
The present invention is a metal cable locking mechanism for allowing the cable to pass through the locking mechanism in one direction but grips the metal cable when it is attempted to be removed from the locking mechanism in the opposite direction. The locking mechanism includes a housing having a through passageway for receiving the cable, a tapering internal cavity, wherein a wheel and spring are positioned within the internal cavity, the spring biasing the wheel toward a narrower end of the internal cavity. The wheel is wedged between the cable and an internal cavity ramp whenever a force is applied to the cable attempting to withdraw the cable. A releasing device can be manually inserted into a slot passage to force the wheel away from the narrower end of the internal cavity so that the locking mechanism will ungrasp the cable.
Shortening clutch
A main body provided with a pocket for accommodating a first chain link of another chain, and a lock lever which is capable of switching between a locked state and an unlocked state by pivoting, and which restricts disengagement of the first chain link from the pocket in the locked state, and allows the first chain link to disengage from the pocket in the unlocked state, which is resisted by an urging force of an urging member, wherein the lock lever is provided with a locking piece which projects from a pivot point toward the pocket side, and the locking piece projects toward a position in which movement of a second chain link in an escaping direction is restricted, a first operating piece extending to the side of the pivot point on which one chain is coupled, and a second operating piece extending to the opposite side.

Hanger chain with mating hooks
A chain including a pair of hooks, the first hook having a first hook end and a first link end, the first hook end defining a first hook for suspending an article therefrom, the first link end defining a first link member for coupling the first hook to a chain. The chain including a second hook having a second hook end and a second link end, the second hook end defining a second hook for suspending an article therefrom, the second link end defining a second link member for coupling the second hook to the chain. The first and second hooks including first and second couplers respectively, the first and second couplers configured to connect one to the other for attaching the first hook adjacent to the second hook, the first and second hooks forming a continuous hook member when coupled adjacent one to the other.
Splicer thimble for rope
The base defines a channel formed as an open-ended groove through the base such that in use the channel permits a rope to extend from either one of adjacent sides of the base to position the thimble apparatus between first and second positions.
SHACKLE
Provided is a shackle, and the shackle comprises: a shackle body having holes at opposite ends formed by opening one side thereof and defining a pulling ring while an opposite side thereof is closed, and in which an auxiliary ring is additionally formed on the pulling ring; and a shackle pin that is sequentially screw-coupled to the holes formed on the one side of the shackle body while passing through the holes.
