PLUG, MACHINE AND PROCESSING METHOD UNDER HIGH PRESSURE

Plug for high-pressure processing machines with a bag, comprising a duct for the passage of a pressure-transmitting fluid to the bag, another duct for filling and emptying of a product to be pressurized and a valve. The plug is further provided with a rod for opening and closing the valve. Said rod is located in the duct for the product and has its own inner duct joined to a cleaning agent chamber for the passage of the cleaning agent through the product duct. The invention also relates to a machine incorporating said plug and a method for the processing of pumpable substances. Hygienic design and very high pressure sealing requirements are met by the invention.

A propane tank seat accessory device provides an upper seating surface to support a user seated thereon on a portable propane tank with a cylindrical body and a protective cage surrounding a valve at the top end thereof. The device has a seat with a lower supporting surface for being supported on an upper edge of the protective cage and which defines the upper seating surface thereon. A sleeve extends downwardly from the lower supporting surface having an exterior diameter receivable within the protective cage of the propane tank in which a bottom end of the sleeve can be engaged upon the top end of the tank body. The sleeve has a valve opening therein for communication of the valve structure therethrough.

An apparatus is disclosed for improved high pressure processing of parts and materials with fast cycle time, clean operation, and easy to change pressure vessels. Applications include but are not limited to pressure vessels for critical point drying of MEMS or SEM samples, parts cleaning, supercritical fluid extraction, and aerogel processing. In a specific embodiment, the pressure vessel can operate near or above the critical pressure and temperature of a fluid in the pressure vessel for parts processing. This includes critical point drying of MEMS or SEM samples in an easy to use processing pressure chamber system.

The outer nozzle defines an opening in the outer tank and is positioned above the inner nozzle, such that the inner manway plate is accessible through the outer nozzle. The outer manway plate couples to an upper edge of the outer nozzle to cover the opening in the outer tank. In response to applying the vacuum to the annular space between the inner and outer tanks, a differential pressure between the annular space and a space external to the outer tank secures the outer manway plate to the outer nozzle.
