TOOL FOR SECURING AND TURNING OVER FOR ASSEMBLING PHOTOVOLTAIC SOLAR TRACKER SECTIONS, SYSTEM AND ASSOCIATED ASSEMBLY METHOD
The present invention relates to a tool for mounting, rotating and loading sections of solar trackers on autonomous transportation means in order to transport them to the specific location of said solar trackers in the field, wherein the fastening and rotating tool for mounting sections of photovoltaic solar trackers makes the pre-assembly, transportation and installation of the solar tracker section possible, reducing the mounting time of each operation. The invention also relates to an associated system and method that makes use of the fastening and rotating tool for mounting sections of photovoltaic solar trackers.
Bracket mount for securing solar panel rail guides on a roof
In various representative aspects, an assembly for securing a solar panel rail and rail-less support structures to a shingle roof. More specifically, the apparatus includes a connection bracket and flashing device for use in installing solar panel rail support structures. The connection bracket is secured to the flashing device by rotating its base around a threaded connection until it locks in place so that a solar panel rail support guide can be connected to a generally U-shaped connection on the top of the bracket. The apparatus also offers an improved means to cover the penetration point on the flashing to protect it and prevent water from leaking into the roof as well as an improved way to install the apparatus over existing products. An alternate embodiment of the apparatus is offered to support a rail-less pivot mount as well.
CABLE HANGER
A cable hanger including a body defining a support coupling and a number of supported element couplings. The support coupling is a rigid element support coupling.
Monolithic macro-fluidic heat transfer components and methods for manufacturing same
A solar collector is provided. The collector comprises a monolithic flow control component to direct a flow of the heat transfer fluid between an inlet and outlet; and a solar absorber supported by the monolithic flow control component. The monolithic flow control component is able to support the solar absorber without any additional structural components to lend mechanical strength to the monolithic flow control component.
Solar heat absorber, solar heat collecting system and solar power generation system with ceramic particles
The present disclosure provides a solar heat absorber including: an inlet through which a heat collecting medium enters the solar heat absorber; a passage member configured to be fluidly connected with the inlet such that the heat collecting medium enters the passage member through the inlet; and a collection member configured to be fluidly connected with the passage member such that the heat collecting medium enters the collection member through the passage member. In the solar heat absorber according to the present disclosure, the ceramic particles are used as the heat collecting medium. In addition, the present disclosure also provides a solar heat collecting system including the solar heat absorber, and a solar power generation system including the solar heat collecting system.
Device measuring optimum inclination angle for solar collectors
A measurement device which enables to determine the optimum angle values and orientations of collectors/cells and which enables to measure both direct radiation and diffuse radiation, essentially includes a main body; a solar cell which generates current from solar energy; an actuation mechanism which is adapted to move the solar cell in horizontal and vertical axis; an upper cover which prevents the sun beams reaching the solar cell by covering the upper part of the main body; a second cover on each one of the lateral walls of the upper cover; a current detector which measures the current generated by the solar cell, a control unit which includes a processing unit adapted to generate angle signals that will move the first motor and second motor and determine the optimum angle values according to current information corresponding to the angle signals and the angle information corresponding to the current information.

Boron carbide bilayer foam solar evaporator and method for preparing thereof
The present invention provides a solar absorber incorporated bilayer foam solar evaporator for seawater and wastewater purification including a plurality of solar absorbers partially incorporated into a porous polymer framework and partially forming a thermal insulation layer proximal to solar irradiation. In particular, low-cost commercially available B.sub.4C powders are embedded into a porous polymer foam in a one-pot method to form a scaffold of boron carbide bilayer foam (BCBF) with good hydrophilic wettability, heat-shielding, and solar-thermal conversion. The boron carbide bilayer foam (BCBF) of the present invention enables a high cost-performance seawater desalination and wastewater purification at a high evaporation rate of 2.8 kg/m.sup.2/h with 93% solar evaporation efficiency under 1 sun illumination (or 1 kW/m.sup.2). The present invention thereby provides an excellent and cost-effective solar evaporator tool for industrial-level water purification. Following the present method to prepare the BCBF solar evaporator, the fabrication cost can be as low as 3.6 $/m.sup.2.
TELESCOPIC GUIDE ASSEMBLY FOR BRIDGING SOLAR PANEL TABLES IN A SOLAR ARRAY
A telescopic guide assembly for bridging a first solar panel table and a second solar panel table is disclosed. The telescopic guide assembly may include an inner pipe partially disposed within an outer pipe. The inner pipe may be configured to rotate within the outer pipe and may be further configured to partially slide-in or slide-out of the outer pipe. The telescopic guide assembly may further include a first coupler configured to mechanically couple the inner pipe with the first solar panel table at an associated first position on an inner side of the first solar panel table facing a second solar panel table, and a second coupler configured to mechanically couple the outer pipe with the second solar panel table at an associated second position on an inner side of the second solar panel table facing the first solar panel table.
