Apparatus for bagging ice including ice level and load sensors
An ice bagging assembly and related method with a horizontal ice bag cassette, a pair of opposing ice bag ply graspers configured to move an empty ice bag from the horizontal ice bag cassette to a vertical position to receive cubed ice before it is sealed shut and dropped to an ice bag merchandiser. The opposing graspers may be configured as rotating wheels and may have a grasping sensor. The ice bag cassette may be slidably and tiltably supported for easy replacement of horizontal bags. A load sensor, optical or mechanical, may be associated with the ice hopper to sense how much ice has been put in each bag. A pair of angled guides may guide a hopper into a support frame for the system.
Refrigerator capable of making ice particles and method for making ice particles
A refrigerator includes a body having a storage space; a door coupled with the body and for opening/closing the storage space, and an ice particle maker equipped in the door, wherein the ice particle maker includes a water feed nozzle for injecting water supplied from a water supply source into an ice particle making area; a cold air flow path for supplying cold air to the ice particle making area; and a dispenser for discharging ice particles made from the ice particle maker.
Refrigerator
A refrigerator may include an ice container, a discharge unit, which is provided at the ice container and has an outlet through which ice cubes are discharged, an ice discharging unit, which is provided in the ice container in a manner of rotatable in forward and reverse directions so as to selectively discharge ice cubes, which move thereinto by their own weight, in an uncrushed state or a crushed state, a first ice agglomeration blocking member, which is disposed over the ice discharging unit and is rotated by rotation of the ice discharging unit, and a second ice agglomeration blocking member, which is disposed over the ice discharging unit and is rotated by rotation of the first ice agglomeration blocking member, and which is coupled at a portion thereof to the first ice agglomeration blocking member and at another portion thereof to the ice container.
ICEMAKER ASSEMBLY HAVING A PLUNGER
A stopper of an ice bucket may be for promptly stopping withdrawal of ice when a command for withdrawal of ice from the ice bucket is stopped. The stopper may be configured such that a plunger enters a rotation trajectory of a blade, at a time when the plunger needs to be moved so as to promptly stop the blade by the plunger.
ICE-AND-WATER DISPENSER
An ice-and-water dispenser to be integrated into a refrigeration appliance includes a main subassembly having a dispenser bay, a passage for ice, a water outlet and a switch to be actuated by an object held in the dispenser bay. A decorative element which contributes to or determines the appearance of the ice-and-water dispenser in a mounted state, can be mounted on the main subassembly in various models. A refrigeration appliance including an ice-and-water dispenser is also provided.
ICE-MAKING DEVICE FOR REFRIGERATOR AND REFRIGERATOR INCLUDING THE SAME
A refrigerator having an ice-making device evaporator in addition to a refrigerator storage room evaporator. The ice-making device includes an ice tray and a cooling pipe contacting an outer surface of the ice tray. A refrigerant flows in the cooling pipe and directly cools the ice tray. The ice-making device evaporator receives the refrigerant from a condenser and supplies it to the cooling pipe. A heat insulation member wraps around the cooling pipe and can prevent the cooling pipe from exchanging heat with ambient air.
DISPENSER MODULE AND REFRIGERATOR INCLUDING THE SAME
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a dispenser module and a refrigerator including the same, which are capable of preventing ice from being scattered around the refrigerator, and ensures that ice is only discharged using a specified route. A dispenser module is disclosed, including a dispenser body having a discharge port, a guide wall formed along an edge of the dispenser body so as to protrude from the dispenser body, an ice cap mounted to the guide wall and configured to be rotated by a drive unit to open or close a movement route through which ice is moved toward the discharge port. The dispenser module further includes a push lever having an end mounted to the dispenser body and extending away from the guide wall, and a switch configured to control an operation of the drive unit by sensing a rotation of the push lever.
ICE MAKER AIR FLOW RIBS
A refrigeration appliance includes a freezer compartment for storing food items. An ice maker is disposed within the freezer compartment and includes a removable ice bin having an internal cavity. A front cover closes a front open end of the ice bin. The front cover includes a front face oriented toward a front of the freezer compartment, a rear face, and a recess formed in the rear face. The rear face of the front cover is disposed adjacent to a horizontal edge portion of the ice maker when the removable ice bin is disposed within the ice maker wherein the recess defines a gap between the front cover and the horizontal edge portion that fluidly communicates with the internal cavity of the removable ice bin. A plurality of ribs is disposed within the gap for directing air exiting the internal cavity of the removable ice bin into a predetermined direction.
DISPENSER ASSEMBLY FOR REFRIGERATOR
A dispenser assembly for a refrigerator including a removable discharge nozzle. The dispenser assembly includes a dispenser body, a water supply flow path and a removable discharge nozzle removably supported by a storage part formed in the dispenser body. The removable discharge nozzle is coupled to an extension hose can be pulled out of the dispenser body by a user for dispensing water. The removable discharge nozzle includes a discharge flow path, a rotating shaft installed in the discharge flow path, an opening/closing member, and a discharge button for user manipulation.
Refrigerator
A refrigerator includes a cabinet defining a refrigerating chamber and a freezing chamber, an ice making device and an ice making water supply device. A variable temperature drawer is disposed in lower part of the refrigerating chamber. The ice making water supply device includes a water tank disposed above the variable temperature drawer, a water pump connected with the water tank, and a water pipe connected with the water tank and the ice making device for introducing the water in the water tank into the ice making device. With the refrigerator according to embodiments, the water quality is ensured and the preservation effect is improved. Because the temperature of the variable temperature drawer is generally in the range of −3° C. to 8° C., the water in the water tank is not easy to be frozen, and can be supplied to the ice making device continuously.
