A firearm includes one or more rails to which accessories may be mounted. The rails provide a communication path over which data may be transferred between the accessories and a processor located in the rails or in the firearm. The processor may cause the data to be sent to another location and may receive other data from other locations to provide a network of intercommunicating firearms that may deployed in a battlefield environment.

Lock mechanism of a trigger group that enables assembly and disassembly of a gun

A lock system which is included in shotguns that are used by hunters to hunt game animals, characterized in that it is developed to provide safety storage by disassembling the trigger group from the case when the gun is not used and to provide the trigger group to be easily mounted on the case when the gun is used. This provides easy assembly and disassembly procedures of the trigger group on the case via a lock bolt gap, a contact surface and a locking point created on the case belonging to the gun. A stop gap, fitting surface, lock bolt gap, vertical surface, assembly gap, positioning gap and operating gap are created on the trigger guard of the trigger group. A lock bolt contacted with a cap pin extends through the assembly gap by positioning in the lock bolt gap created on the trigger group.

Firing mechanism assembly

An external firing mechanism for a muzzle loaded mortar system incorporates a drop fire mode, a lever fire mode and a safe mode. The firing mechanism is easy to assemble or replace and does not require an adjustment procedure when mounting to the mortar system. The firing mechanism utilizes bearing balls as a tripping device which transfers potential energy in a compressed spring to kinetic energy of a firing pin oriented orthogonal to that spring.

Device and method for locking and controlling a weapon

Some aspects of the invention are related to a locking device for a firearm and a method of controlling such a locking device. The locking device may include a locking cartridge adapted to be inserted into a firing chamber of the firearm, the locking cartridge may include a cartridge-like housing and a locking mechanism located in the cartridge-like housing. In some embodiments, when the locking mechanism is in an unlocked state, the locking mechanism may be extractable from the firearm's firing chamber, by cocking the firearm and when the locking mechanism is in a locked state, cocking the firearm may fasten the locking mechanism in the firearm's firing chamber. The locking device may further include an actuator adapted to change the state of the locking mechanism between the locked state and the unlocked state and a controller, in active communication with the actuator, configured to operate the actuator according to a signal received from an input device. In some embodiments, the locking cartridge, the actuator and the controller are extricable from the firearm together as a single unit.
