DART FLIGHT
20230113955 · 2023-04-13 ·

A new dart has an integrally formed flight part that is made of thin plastic with a uniform thickness. The flight part has a set of flexible blades that are radially offset, with the width of each blades being coplanar, and extending perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of a stem on which a barrel and dart tip are connected. Edges on a central portion of the flight part engage cooperating surfaces on a retainer, locking the retainer and the flight part against rotation with respect to each other. A self-lubricating bearing fits over the a stem and is used to connect to the flight part and the retainer for rotation with respect to a barrel and dart tip. A channel extends along the length of each blade. A bubble is positioned outwardly of the channel.

Disclosed is a laser emitting dart apparatus (LEDA) and method of use. The LEDA provides for a dart apparatus that, by emitting a laser beam from a tip of the dart and projecting a laser dot onto a selected target, facilitates a dart user’s aim by providing an indication of where the dart is likely to strike a selected target if the dart is thrown or projected in a substantially straight line from point of the user’s grasp to the indicated laser dot projected onto the target. The invention further contemplates various charging cases or dart cradles that provide an electrical source to recharge a battery of the LEDA when the LEDA is not in use.

Toy Gun

A toy gun capable of illuminating soft projectile being ejected therefrom, comprising a gun body, a grip assembly is fixedly attached to the gun body, and a trigger assembly mounted on the grip assembly. The gun body has a power source , a motor , a launch assembly with a launch tube, a light source and a light reflecting unit. When the trigger assembly of the toy gun is actuated, the power source activates the motor and switches on the light source. The activated motor causes the launch assembly to discharge a soft projectile in the launch tube and the light emitted from the light source is reflected by the light reflecting unit onto the soft projectile once it is discharged, thereby illuminating the soft projectile.

A water penetrating blowgun dart is provided. The blowgun dart has a funnel removably attached to a tail end of the dart shaft so that upon contact with a water surface, the funnel moves from an engaged configuration to a disengaged configuration. The tail end may provide a slot for snugly receiving an eye, wherein the tail end and the eye have cooperating grooves so that when in the engaged configuration, the eye and tail end are secured with a filament that slightly protrudes from the flush outer surface of the shaft and eye. The protruding filament frictionally engages the funnel in the engaged configuration so that the funnel remains engaged with the shaft prior to hitting the water's surface.
