COORDINATED AUTONOMOUS VEHICLE AUTOMATIC AREA SCANNING
Methods and systems for autonomous and semi-autonomous vehicle control, routing, and automatic feature adjustment are disclosed. Sensors associated with autonomous operation features may be utilized to search an area for missing persons, stolen vehicles, or similar persons or items of interest. Sensor data associated with the features may be automatically collected and analyzed to passively search for missing persons or vehicles without vehicle operator involvement. Search criteria may be determined by a remote server and communicated to a plurality of vehicles within a search area. In response to which, sensor data may be collected and analyzed by the vehicles. When sensor data generated by a vehicle matches the search criteria, the vehicle may communicate the information to the remote server.
Alarm management module for a wastewater pumping station
An alarm management module (13) is for a wastewater pumping station that includes at least one pump (9a, 9b) arranged for pumping wastewater out of a wastewater pit (1). The alarm management module (13) is configured to process at least one level variable (h) indicative of a filling level of the wastewater pit (1) and at least one capacity variable (p %, P %, C %) indicative of a pumping capacity of the wastewater pumping station. The alarm management module (13) is configured to trigger an intervention alarm only if all of the following conditions are met: a) the at least one level variable (h) is at or above a predetermined alarm level threshold (h.sub.m), b) the at least one level variable (h) is increasing, and c) the at least one capacity variable (p %, P %, C %) is below a capacity threshold.
Load monitoring system for waste receptacle
A system is disclosed for monitoring waste collected by a service vehicle. The system may include a lift actuator configured to cause lifting of the waste, a power takeoff driven by a powertrain of the service vehicle to power the lift actuator, and a sensor configured to generate a speed signal indicative of a speed of the powertrain. The system may also include an output device, and a controller in communication with the sensor and the output device. The controller may be configured to receive the speed signal from the sensor, determine an amount of waste lifted by the lift actuator based on the speed signal, and relay the amount of waste to the output device.
Mobile application for livestock heat monitoring
Devices, systems, and methods for monitoring livestock can include a mobile platform arranged to present the user with an optimal breeding period based on mount activity of the livestock assets. Monitoring optimal breeding periods can increase likelihood of healthy breeding, including through real-time information.
Battery management system with operational states
A battery management system includes a low-power chip that allows battery management system, or components thereof, to alternate between operational states. Operational states may include a first state, a second state, a third state, and the like. A method of operation by a battery management system for an electric aircraft is also provided.
INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND INFORMATION PROCESSING PROGRAM PRODUCT
According to one embodiment, an information processing device includes: a first memory; a first receiver; a first determination section; and a first transmitter. The first memory is configured to store first image data of interior of a vehicle at a first point in time. The first receiver is configured to receive second image data of the interior of the vehicle at a second point of time from the vehicle. The first determination section is configured to determine whether a change has been caused in the interior of the vehicle between the first point in time and the second point in time. The first transmitter is configured to transmit first data based on the determination result.
Vehicular safety system for controlling a safety feature
A vehicular safety system includes a rear camera, a left side camera and a right side camera disposed at a vehicle. A control includes an image processor for processing image data captured by the cameras to detect a rear-approaching vehicle that is approaching from rearward of the equipped vehicle. When reverse gear of the equipped vehicle is not engaged, and responsive to determination of a potential collision between the detected rear-approaching vehicle and the equipped vehicle, a safety feature of the equipped vehicle is triggered before actual impact occurs. If actual impact does not occur, the triggered safety feature returns to its condition that existed prior to the determination of the potential collision between the detected rear-approaching vehicle and the equipped vehicle. Operation of the safety feature when the reverse gear is engaged is different from operation of the safety feature when the reverse gear is not engaged.
Arthropod detection
A method for detecting an arthropod, the method being performed using an apparatus including a detection surface, an electrode grid including electrodes arranged relative to the detection surface, and an electronic processing device, wherein the method includes, in the electronic processing device: measuring changes in electrical properties of the electrode grid in response to at least one of movement and positioning of one or more body parts of an arthropod in proximity to the detection surface; and, determining whether the arthropod is of a particular arthropod type by analysing the changes to determine whether the changes are indicative of a characteristic behaviour of the particular arthropod type.

Server-provided visual output at a voice interface device
A method at an electronic device with an array of indicator lights includes: obtaining first visual output instructions stored at the electronic device, where the first visual output instructions control operation of the array of indicator lights based on operating state of the electronic device; receiving a voice input; obtaining from a remote system a response to the voice input and second visual output instructions, where the second visual output instructions are provided by the remote system along with the response in accordance with a determination that the voice input satisfies one or more criteria; executing the response; and displaying visual output on the array of indicator lights in accordance with the second visual output instructions, where otherwise in absence of the second visual output instructions the electronic device displays visual output on the array of indicator lights in accordance with the first visual output instructions.
