Systems, devices, and methods for controlling operation of wearable displays during vehicle operation
The present systems, devices, and methods generally relate to controlling wearable displays during vehicle operation, and particularly to detecting when a user is operating a vehicle and restricting operation of a wearable display to prevent the user from being distracted. At least one processor of a wearable display system receives user context data from at least one user context sensor, and determines whether the user is operating a vehicle based on the user context data. If the user is operating a vehicle, presentation of at least one user interface is restricted. Unrestricted access can be restored by inputting an unlock input to override the restriction, or by analysis of additional user context data at a later time.
SENSING RANGE LIMITING DEVICE, RECEIVING DEVICE, TRANSMITTING AND RECEIVING DEVICE,OPTICAL FIBER SENSING RANGE LIMITING METHOD, AND RECORDING MEDIUM
An optical fiber sensing range limiting device comprises: a blocking unit that, on the basis of a control signal and for a prescribed period, causes probe light that has been sent to an optical fiber used in optical fiber sensing and has returned from the optical fiber to be blocked from being transmitted to a light detection unit, or causes a detection signal that is detected with respect to the return light to be blocked from being transmitted to a downstream processing unit; and a control unit that outputs the control signal to the blocking unit. The prescribed period includes a period corresponding to the positional range for which acquisition of information from the detection signal is prohibited or for which it is undesirable to acquire the information.
Sensor-data processing device
A sensor-data processing device, including at least one interface to communicate with at least one sensor element for detecting sensor events; at least one interface to communicate with at least one external computer device for processing sensor data representing the sensor events; devices for generating at least one time base specific to the sensor-data processing device; a device for assigning time stamps to the sensor events, the time stamps being based on the time base of the sensor-data processing device and being specific to the sensor-data processing device; a device for receiving a request signal from the computer device; with the aid of the computer device, the request signal being able to be assigned a time stamp based on a time base specific to the computer device; and a device for assigning a time stamp specific to the sensor-data processing device, to the request signal.

Methods and systems of an all purpose broadband network with publish subscribe broker network
A first optimization server including a first publish-subscribe broker is configured to connect to a first cellular base transceiver station, where the first cellular base transceiver station is configured to communicatively connect to entities, including a first entity, in an RF coverage area of the first cellular base transceiver station. A second optimization server includes a second publish-subscribe broker, where the first publish-subscribe broker and the second publish-subscribe broker are part of a publish-subscribe broker network that is operable to distribute published data packets between entities that are connected to a publish-subscribe broker of the publish-subscribe broker network, where the publish-subscribe broker network is configured to route data packets published by the first entity to a second entity via the first publish-subscribe broker and the second publish-subscribe broker if the second entity has subscribed to receive the data packets published by the first entity.

Damper and damper monitoring method
A damper is provided which can more reliably prevent malfunction and breakdown and which enables efficiently performing repair and inspection operations. This damper, provided with a casing linked to a first object and a rotating part linked to a second object rotatably attached to the first object, damps rotation in either the direction closing or the direction opening the second object, and is provided with a sensor which detects prescribed change in the external environment in the damper or around the damper, and a control unit which externally communicates, over a communication network, information relating to the change in the external environment detected by the sensor, wherein the sensor is configured from at least one of: a rotation sensor for detecting the number of revolutions of the rotating part: a sound sensor for detecting sound during rotations of the rotating part; a temperature sensor for detecting temperature; and a torque sensor for detecting torque on the basis of friction during rotation of the rotating part.

Quality check apparatus, quality check method, and program
A quality check apparatus, a quality check method, and a quality check program can check the quality of input data output to a processing module. A device outputs the input data and first metadata indicating an attribute regarding the quality of the input data to the processing module. The quality check apparatus includes a first obtaining unit and a check unit. The first obtaining unit obtains the first metadata. The check unit checks the quality of the input data based on the first metadata.
Power headroom report generation
Apparatuses, methods, and systems are disclosed for power headroom report generation. One method includes aggregating multiple serving cells. The method includes determining that a power headroom report is triggered. The method includes determining that an uplink resource for a new transmission on a serving cell of the multiple serving cells is allocated at a first time after the power headroom report is triggered.
