ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND OPERATION METHOD THEREOF
An electronic device includes sensors, a display, and a processor electrically connected to the sensors and the display, in which the electronic device is in a first running mode for permanently providing compass information or a second running mode for providing the compass information, in response to a request from a user. When set to be in the first running mode, the processor a performance mode of a digital compass to be a first performance mode, determines first performance mode-based compass information using the sensors, and displays the determined first performance mode-based compass information on the display. When set to be in the second running mode, the processor sets the performance mode of the digital compass to be a second performance mode, determines second performance mode-based compass information using the sensors at the request from the user, and displays the determined second performance mode-based compass information on the display.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR SHARING CONTENT ON INSTANT MESSAGING APPLICATION DURING CALLS
A method for sharing content performed by at least one processor of a first user terminal includes initiating, through a first external device, a call between a first user account associated with the first user terminal and a second user account associated with a second user terminal included in a chat room of an instant messaging application, transmitting a co-view request associated with a content to share to the first external device, where the content to share is one of a plurality of contents shared within the chat room, and displaying the content to share with a call screen on a display of the first user terminal.
Dynamic shading system
A dynamic shading system is disclosed. The system comprises a screen and a control system. The screen comprises a plurality of light valves. Each light valve has an adjustable translucency so that the screen can present an image on one side of the screen. The control system is configured to determine what image is to be presented on the one side of the screen in dependence of light intensity incident on another side of the screen. the control system is further configured to control each light valve of the screen to have a translucency so that the plurality of the light valves forms the determined image on the one side of the screen.
Display device
Provided is a display device including a controller and a display. The controller may perform tone mapping for adjusting luminance of input image data, and the display may display an image according to an output image data, in which luminance is adjusted by the tone mapping. The controller may generate a base mapping curve from the input image data, analyze depth map information of the input image data, generate a mapping curve, to which the depth map information is reflected, from the base mapping curve, and perform the tone mapping using the mapping curve.
Ruggedized remote control display latency and loss of signal detection for harsh and safety-critical environments
Systems, methods, and apparatuses are disclosed for overcoming latency and loss of signal detection in remote control displays. An exemplary system includes a remote control, a host computing device, and one or more target systems communicatively coupled to each other over a wired and/or wireless network. One method includes receiving, by the remote control and from a host computing device, a first video frame captured by a target device, determining a first time corresponding to receipt of the first video frame, receiving, from the host computing device, a second video frame, determining a second time corresponding to receipt of the second video frame, comparing the time difference to a latency threshold, and causing an alert graphic element to be displayed indicating a latency in communication.
Method for transmitting control instructions to a plurality of receivers and receiver adapted to receive a light pixel carrying the control instructions
Control instructions are transmitted to receivers by modulating light sources to generate light beams that are modulated with digital data streams for inducing control instructions in the light beams. Each light beam is applied to a pixel shaper element of a pixel shaper assembly to produce a light pixel, each light pixel carrying the control instructions of the light beam, each light pixel having a perimeter defined by the pixel shaper element. The pixel shaper assembly combines the light pixels into an image without significant overlap or voids between the light pixels. The light pixels are directed toward a projector lens for transmission toward the receivers. In a receiver, an optical receiver detects a light pixel. A controller decodes the control instructions received in the detected light pixel and uses the control instructions to control a function of the receiver.
Display device and method for operating the same
A display device includes a display panel, an input sensor, and a readout circuit. The display panel is configured to display an image. The input sensor is disposed on the display panel. The readout circuit is configured to output a moisture level signal corresponding to sensing signals received from the input sensor in a skin measurement mode.
Touch display device, touch driving circuit and display panel
