Switchgear or controlgear with unmanned operation and maintenance, and method of operating the same

A switchgear or controlgear with unmanned operation and maintenance includes: an equipment safety system that includes a steering and control system for calculating a action radius of a robot system. An acting area in an internal space of the switchgear or controlgear is divided into virtual zones. Each action in each virtual zone is precalculated predictively as a micro simulation in which actual sensor data are considered before an intended action is triggered.

Electrical energy transmission device and life cycle management

An electrical energy transmission device for the transmission of electrical energy has a fluid-holding chamber. An electrically insulating fluid is contained in the fluid-holding chamber. The electrically insulating fluid is, at least in part, air-drawn from the surroundings of the electrical energy transmission device. The insulating fluid is used for insulating phase conductors in order to avoid short circuit conditions.

Maintenance Drawer For An Electrical Distribution Switchboard

A drawer comprising a chassis configured for insertion into an opening in a distribution switchboard, a front facade that closes the opening in the distribution switchboard when the drawer is inserted, and downstream connection terminals intended to be connected to a load, wherein the distribution drawer includes a plurality of connectors that open onto its front facade, each of these connectors being connected to a downstream connection terminal and allowing a measurement apparatus to be connected, and the connection drawer including a selector that is actuatable from the front facade and that allows the downstream connection terminals to be connected to and disconnected from an equipotential link.

System for Monitoring a Switchgear

A system for monitoring a switchgear includes multiple infrared cameras with fields of view; a processing unit; and an output unit. The cameras acquire multiple image data of a plurality of phases of the switchgear, and the processing unit determines whether there is a phase imbalance in a specific phase comprising a determination from a plurality of image data that temperature information for a plurality of component parts and/or a plurality of connections for that specific phase has an overall enhanced temperature compared to the temperature information for the same plurality of component parts and/or the same plurality of connections for one or more other phases of the plurality of phases. The output unit is configured to output information that a fault or load imbalance has occurred in a phase.

Method and apparatus for imaging analysis of a switchgear or the like

A method is disclosed for inspecting electrical components within a housing. The method may be useful for identifying dust, grime, corrosion, tree-like structures, edges and/or slots on electrical components. The method includes capturing two optical images of an electrical component and comparing the images. Variations in pixels between the two images may be used to generate warnings.
