Ink mist collection system
A printer ink mist collection system for a printer and a method of collecting and removing ink mist from the printer, the system having a channel extending from a print area to a filtration system wherein the filtration system comprises one or more filters and wherein the channel is configured to direct airborne ink and mist generated during printing to the filtration system and wherein the channel and filtration system are removable from a printer for purposes of cleaning the ink collection system.
Ink maintenance system for a printer
An ink maintenance system for a printer comprising a first tray having a base and a plurality of side walls, the first tray having a first length and an open top along the length and a second tray having a base and a plurality of side walls, the second tray having a second length and an open top along its length. The system also includes a fan and a filter. To use the system, a print head is positioned in a standby or cleaning position within the printer and ink is ejected from one or more print nozzles into an ink maintenance system within the printer such that the ejected ink is collected in at least one of a catch tray or a filter of the ink maintenance system. The system is then removable from the printer for cleaning.
Print surface positioning system for food product printer
A system and method for positioning a food product with respect to a print head for printing on a surface thereof. The system is incorporated into a printer. The system has a movable support surface for supporting the food product thereon, the support surface being vertically and horizontally moveable with respect to the print head. A sensor is provided for detecting a position of a surface of the food product positioned on the moveable support surface with respect to the print head. The sensor provides a signal to the printer indicative of a position of the surface of the food product and wherein the moveable support surface is adjustable in response thereto. The sensor is a position sensor configured to detect the position of a top surface of the food product.
Food product printer
A printer and corresponding method of printing an image on a surface of a plurality of food products by providing a system having a printer with an extendable and retractable receiving arm and a rotating food product delivery tray for continuously and automatically providing delivery of unprinted food products which are retracted into the printer, printed on, and returned by the receiving arm to the rotatable delivery tray and the tray further moves to deliver subsequent food products for printing.
Hinged printer housing
A printer housing with an upper portion and a lower portion with a cavity there between and wherein the upper portion and lower portion are connected by one or more hinges such that the housing opens about the hinged connection between the upper portion and the lower portion to expose the cavity there between. The hinged connection allows the upper portion to be lifted up with respect to the lower portion to expose one or more printer components for access through the cavity. One or more hinges secure the upper portion to the lower portion and wherein the one or more hinges are positioned on a same perimeter side of the housing such that the housing opens about one side.
DEVICE FOR COOKING AND TOPPING OF FOOD
A device, comprising a cooker and a topper for auto cooking and or topping of food.
System for dispensing toppings
One variation of a method for dispensing toppings onto topping vehicles includes: indexing a first topping vehicle to a first position adjacent a first topping module, the first topping module including a first hopper containing a first topping of a first topping type; indexing a second topping vehicle to a second position adjacent a second topping module including a second hopper containing a second topping of a second topping type; retracting a first blade of the first topping module; advancing the first blade through the first topping; retracting a first retaining plate to dispense a topping slice from the first topping onto the first topping vehicle according to a first topping order for the first topping vehicle specifying the first topping type, the first retaining plate offset from the first blade opposite the first hopper; advancing the first retaining plate; and indexing the first topping vehicle to the second position.
Stamping and embossing system for edible items
A stamp system includes a top portion and a bottom portion, each shaped to resemble a slice of bread. The top portion has a lower surface that forms a pattern to be stamped into an edible item. The bottom portion has an upper surface that is configured with a tray that is shaped to carry an edible ink. The stamp system is used to stamp both a physical impression and a pattern in edible ink onto an edible item, such as a sandwich made of sliced bread.
Adjustable Smoothing Device for Food Products
An adjustable smoothing device is provided for smoothing and decorating a food item. The smoothing device includes a base plate, a supporting plate, a leveling unit, a block unit and a mounting plate. The supporting plate includes an elongated member. The leveling unit includes a ridge portion, a vertical member, a height adjustable leveling member and a level tightening means. The block unit is coupled to the elongated member and includes a groove portion. The block unit is connected to the leveling unit to form a smoothing assembly. The smoothing assembly and the elongated member are adaptable to rotate around the mounting plate along an axis of the base plate thereby enabling the vertical member and the height adjustable leveling member to smooth the food item positioned at the mounting plate.
AUTOMATIC FOOD PREPARATION LINE
