A system for detecting a possibility of boiling over and preventing said boiling over comprising a vessel having a vessel's lid, the lid being characterised in that it is configured to: receive information on an initial level of the vessel's content and current level of the vessel's content; and establish on which heating section of a particular cooktop the vessel and the lid are positioned; and based on a difference between the initial level and the current level as well as the time of the creation of said difference: the lid is configured to instruct a height actuator of the lid to extend said lid vertically, in order to extend height of said vessel, and the lid is configured to instruct an aperture actuator to create an aperture in the lid's; the lid is configured to communicate with said cooktop in order to decrease power generation on said heating section.

The hanger-type cooking information providing device includes a clip portion including a water level sensor and configured to be hung on a cooking container, a contact portion including a temperature sensor configured to contact one lateral surface of the cooking container and to measure temperature, and a main body portion including a wireless communication module configured to wirelessly transmit, to an external device, at least one of water level information sensed by the water level sensor, temperature information sensed by the temperature sensor, water boiling notification information, information on elapsed cooking time, and information on remaining cooking time.

The system and method of the present invention is designed to automatically cook, upon request a meal having various ingredients by immersing bagged food in temperature controlled liquid. The cooking time may be manually or automatically programmed from downloaded cooking direction associated with the food. The cooking request may be given by a user from the physical apparatus or using a mobile device application.
Digital power supply
Provided is an apparatus and method for a digital power supply that can provide independent power control, and control variable power, for two or more electrical loads. Disclosed embodiments may reduce the magnitude of harmonic currents and/or flicker introduced into a power system. Embodiments include a microprocessor that delivers power to electric loads using phase-controlled AC current. The microprocessor may calculate a power array corresponding to a requested power for each electric load. Logic is provided for populating the power array in a pattern that reduces the magnitude of harmonic currents and flicker.
Digital power supply
Provided is an apparatus and method for a digital power supply that can provide independent power control, and control variable power, for two or more electrical loads. Disclosed embodiments may reduce the magnitude of harmonic currents and/or flicker introduced into a power system. Embodiments include a microprocessor that delivers power to electric loads using phase-controlled AC current. The microprocessor may calculate a power array corresponding to a requested power for each electric load. Logic is provided for populating the power array in a pattern that reduces the magnitude of harmonic currents and flicker.

COOKING SYSTEM
A cooking system includes a kitchen utensil and a cooking hob, wherein the kitchen utensil is provided with one or more sensors arranged on the kitchen utensil. The sensors include acceleration sensors, gyroscopic sensors, and inclination sensors. The cooking appliance is provided with a control unit configured to receive data from the sensors and to elaborate information on how the kitchen utensil is being used, and to control the cooking appliance accordingly.
