The technology relates to drip filter coffee machines. In one form, the coffee machine has a body extending from a base, a platform having a platform, an upward facing surface and a coupling portion, and a filter basket a downward facing bottom surface supported on the upward facing surface, a recess located in the bottom surface of the filter basket to receive the coupling portion of the platform; a downward locating feature cooperating with the platform to aid alignment of the filter basket with the platform; and wherein the upward facing surface of the platform includes an upward locating feature engaging the downward location feature to aid in locating the filter basket in an engaged position with the coupling portion.

Coffee machine (10) comprising a machine frame (12), a pot (14) which has a bottom wall (16), a circumferential side wall (18), an inlet opening (20) provided in an upper portion of the pot (14), and an outlet opening (22) provided in a lower and outer portion of the pot (14), wherein the pot (14) is mounted to the machine frame (12) in a manner so as to be pivotable relative to the machine frame (12) about a horizontal pivot axis (24) between a coffee preparation position and a coffee distribution position, in which the outlet opening (22) is positioned at a lower vertical level than in the coffee preparation position, a valve mechanism (26) including a closure element (28), wherein the closure element (28) and the pot (14) are movable relative to each other between a closed position, in which the closure element (28) closes the outlet opening (22).

A cyclic preheating coffee pot includes a main body, a brewing cavity, a water supply apparatus, a heating apparatus, a water inlet pipe and a water outlet pipe mounted on the main body, and a control apparatus, a driving apparatus and a flow dividing structure mounted on the main body. The water supply apparatus is communicated with the heating apparatus, the water supply apparatus is configured to supply water to the heating apparatus, and the water outlet pipe is communicated with the heating apparatus and the flow dividing structure. The flow dividing structure includes a first branch. The water outlet pipe is communicated with the water supply apparatus via the first branch, such that the water supply apparatus, the water inlet pipe, the heating apparatus, the water outlet pipe and the first branch are communicated and form a cyclic pipeline provided with a one-way valve apparatus or a water pump.

A valve (100) comprises: a housing (110), an elastic cap (120) and a driving device (13); at least one group of ports (111) is provided in the housing, and each group of ports comprises an inlet (111a) and an outlet (111b); at least a portion of the elastic cap is provided in the housing; and the driving device is used to drive the elastic cap to undergo an elastic deformation so as to obstruct the inlet and the outlet.

A capsule assembly including a capsule for preparation of beverages and a conveyor cap mounted on the capsule for conveying the beverage exiting the capsule. The capsule includes an inlet wall, an outlet wall, and a lateral wall defining an internal volume inside which at least one beverage ingredient is housed. The outlet wall includes one or more capsule beverage outlets. The conveyor cap is mounted on the capsule to define an enclosure space between the outlet wall and an inner surface of the conveyor cap. The conveyor cap includes one or more beverage delivery openings and is movably mounted on the capsule. The capsule beverage outlets and the conveyor cap are configured to interact so that the capsule beverage outlets are opened by the conveyor cap due to a relative movement between the capsule and the conveyor cap.

A device for preparing a coffee product comprises a preparation chamber (135) which is intended and configured to receive and collect a quantity of ground coffee in a coffee bed (125), and pump means (15) for carrying water under increased pressure to the preparation chamber. The preparation chamber (135) is provided with a water inlet (136) for water at increased temperature and pressure on a first side of the coffee bed (125) and with an outlet (137) on an opposite side beyond the coffee bed (125). The outlet is coupled via a liquid conduit (20) to an outflow (6) at which the coffee product can be taken away. The device is provided with an electronic control system (17) which imposes a preparation cycle each time a product is prepared. Accommodated here in the liquid conduit (20) between the outlet (137) of the preparation chamber (135) and the outflow (6) at which the coffee product can be taken away is an adjustable restriction (30) with a passage (35) which is proportionally adjustable and controllable by the control system (17).

A beverage brewing system having, inter alia, a brew hopper, a hydraulic siphoning component affixed thereto and a solenoid-actuated door switch mechanism. The beverage brewing system includes a hydraulic siphoning component configured to allow hot water to bloom and steep for a controlled amount of time in a brew hopper. The beverage brewing system further includes a brew-hopper agitation mechanism.

A drip filter coffee making device has a filter basket with a lid. The lid supports a water dispenser for wetting grounds in the filter basket. The basket is removable from a body of the device. The lid may have a dampened opening motion, biased into an open position by a spring.

A beverage system is provided including a housing and a brew basket body connected to said housing. The brew basket body is movable between a retracted position and an extended position. When said brew basket body is in said retracted position, said brew basket body is arranged in sealing contact with an adjacent component of said beverage system.
